The hosts will welcome you aboard the Laroan, the 62-foot Transport-Canada-certified boat. Outfitted with sightseeing decks, a BBQ grill, and a full kitchen/dining area, and washroom facilities, the boat acts as a home away from home during tours of the lake, as well as the Harrison River and Port Douglas. Make your first stop in the qathet region the Visitor Centre! Here you will find helpful staff ready to provide maps and directions, offer local services and souveneirs, help source and book local adventures and tours, as well as secure accommodation. Our staff are all trained Tourism/Visitor Information Counsellors who are happy to answer questions and offer local insider knowledge. If you can't make it in to the qathet Visitors Centre in person, we are available to answer questions over the phone, or by email. We're happy to help you plan your visit to the Sunshine Coast and qathet region, including Powell River, Lund, Savary Island, and Texada Island. And when you get here we'd love to see you - just drop by our Visitor Centre at 4760 Joyce Avenue!

See Dr. Miyazaki's office just as he left it, museum artifacts, historic photos, antiques, and gift shop. Local art, cultural and community events are held at the house and grounds during the season.
