At Kootenay Adaptive, we offer personalized rental and experience packages which include, off road hand cycling and adaptive mountain biking to persons with disabilities. Based out of Nakusp, BC and our primary service area are the Okanagan and Kootenay Regions. We also provide experiences across the province and beyond. The Princeton Visitor Centre is located right in downtown Princeton and is an easy walk to restaurants and stores. We have a large parking lot with easy access for RVs, a wide variety of brochures that cover most places in BC, picnic tables, and a filtered water station. We sell local merchandise and nature books. We have maps to show where you can pan for gold in the Rivers and keep the gold!

We apologize but due to COVID and extenuating circumstances our E-bike rentals have been suspended indefinitely. We are sorry for the inconvenience. We do however, offer sales and service of our own line of E-bikes and a variety of e-scooters both online and from our storefront in Victoria. We hope to see you sometime soon!

**NEW ** Bear Claw Lodge is now only available for complete lodge buyouts for private groups or corporate retreats. We no longer offer individual rooms or walk-in meals. Sometimes you have to get away to get close to whats important. To recharge, reconnect, or even find something for the first time. To a place where you leave the normalcy of traffic, early meetings, and last-minute dinners behind. A place where the norm isnt so normal after all. A place where comfort is key and alarm clocks are optional. A place that shares a front yard with bears, moose, deer, and the like. Where you can take a horseback ride to a cabin on top of a mountain. Where you can snorkel in face deep powder or the crystal-clear river. Where you can hike through the scents and flurries of the cottonwood trees. With gourmet meals made with ingredients picked right out the back door. With fireside chats filled with laughter, stories, and the occasional cocktail-induced dare. A place where joy is measured by the number of fish caught or books read. A place run by a family where everyone feels like family. A place where smiles arent in short supply. A place where the uncommon is commonplace. And thats a very good thing. A place far from ordinary.

While staying at the lodge enjoy wildlife art, big game trophies, wildlife viewing, fishing, quiet evenings, snowmobile tours, big screen television, nature hikes, home cooked meals, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, billiards table. Almost every evening you will see rocky mountain elk as well as white tail and mule deer. Take a short walk and you may even see stone sheep. There are many trails throughout the ranch and surrounding area for hiking and cross country skiing. The over two acre lawn provides lots of room for children to stretch their legs and play.Bed and BreakfastEnjoy a relaxing stay at our beautiful cedar lodge. We have four guest rooms with room for up to 12 guests. Each room has a queen bed as well as at least one twin bed. All four rooms share two bathrooms. There is a billiards table and TV along with a large selection of movies to enjoy, in the winter times we have a nice wood stove to warm you while you relax for the evening. Breakfast is served every day on your time schedule. Lunch and Supper are also available with prior notice. We are open Year Around but are petty busy during our hunting season August 1 through Oct 15.
