Facilities: 7 small rustic campsites, hand water pump, pit toilets. Location: 6 km north of Oliver on Highway 97. Inkaneep Provincial Park is nestled in tall riverside cottonwoods in a residential area. This park offers wonderful bird watching opportunities. Park users should use caution when hiking around this park; poison ivy is abundant in this area. The park is conveniently located just outside of the town of Oliver. Open from the last weekend in June through Labour Day.

Comox Air Force Museum

The mission of the Comox Air Force Museum is to preserve and teach the history and heritage of the Royal Canadian Air Force with a focus on CFB Comox, 19 Wing, and the west coast of Canada. A self-guided tour begins at the dawn of military aviation in WWI, WWII, Korea, the Cold War and United Nations Peacekeeping before reaching the section that features all of 19 Wing's past and present squadrons. The research library contains aviation reference materials, technical manuals, personal accounts, biographies, logbooks, and photographs. A well stocked gift shop is filled with clothing, hats, toys, and exclusive RCAF memorabilia. Heritage Air Park is home to a collection of aircraft that once flew at CFB Comox.

A recently renovated community museum, telling the stories of the Southern Carrier First Nations and the peoples who have settled in the Cariboo in the last 250 years. Listen to stories of Chinese and First Nations Elders at our video stations and meet the residents of the early 20th century through the remarkable portraits of CD. Hoy and C.S. Wing. Participate in scavenger hunts and hands on activities. Keep the memory of your visit alive with a souvenir from our gift shop. We have a good selection of history books, clothing, toys, jewelry and housewares. During the Winter Season ( October to April) the museum is only open on Saturday or by appointment.

The Steveston Museum building was built in 1905 as Stevestons first bank. Today, discover the people and moments that shaped Steveston Village. Continue into the Japanese Fishermens Benevolent Society Building to discover exhibits that explore history of Steveston's Japanese Canadian community. The Steveston Post Office and the Town Square Park are also located here, continuing to serve as a community hub for the village.

Facilities: 14 campsites, day-use area, public beach, rustic picnic cabin, water hand pump. Location: 26 km west of Castelgar on Highway 3. An easily-accessible, roadside park with a sub-alpine lake, Nancy Greene Provincial Park is a welcoming and convenient site for day-users and campers. The park is a popular overnight stop for RVer's and also provides day-use for local residents wishing to escape the summer heat of the valley. It's picturesque lake makes it a great spot to enjoy fishing, picnicking, walking, swimming, and nordic skiing in the winter. Grizzly Bear sightings are common in Spring and early Summer. Open from May 15 through the last weekend in September.
