We'll tailor your charter to exactly how you want to spend the day! You can choose to drop crab traps, hunt for huge Chinook salmon, troll for Coho salmon or other salmon species and deep sea fish for Halibut, Lingcod and Rockfish. Wildlife & Whale watching tours are also available. Our 24' Hewescraft welded aluminum boats are perfect fishing machines, each boat is equipped with top quality gear, electronics and radar and have covered seating to keep you warm and dry with large windows all around so no one will miss the action. Our boats also have flush toilets. *Our Covid safety plan includes cleaning and sanitizing of our boats after every charter!

Tons of fun for kids of all ages, the Blackcomb Base Adventure Zone is located in Whistler's Upper Village and includes a variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy (some restrictions may apply).

Explore the waters and shoreline surrounding Alder Bay on a three and a half hour guided kayak tour. Using stable double kayaks, these kayak tours are suitable for everyone even those with no prior kayaking experience. As we quietly kayak along the shore we often see bald eagles dotting the trees and curious harbour seals popping their heads above the water as we pass.

McLean Mill is a rare, surviving example of an early-to-mid 20th century logging and lumber operation in British Columbia. Established in 1925 by Robert Bartlett McLean, his wife Cora and their three sons, it continued as a family-run operation until 1965. McLean Mill was designated a national historic site of Canada in 1989 to commemorate its collection of extant resources related to significant aspects of the forest industry. Whether you wish to take in the history or to go for scenic walk with your family or fur baby, you wont be disappointed. The surroundings are breathtaking and informative. Grab the family, bring a picnic and make it a day at the Mill! 10am-4pm 7-Days/Week during the summer season, however the Mill and Steam Donkey are non operational at this present time. Take a Self-Guided Walking Tour and explore the historic site, buildings and machinery. Admission during the summer season is $10/Adult, $5/Students/Seniors & 7 and Under is Free.

Castlegar's Golf Club is a championship 18-hole, semi-private course situated above the Columbia River. Our facilities include a fully-stocked golf shop, excellent practice facilities, full service Clubhouse & a new 20 site RV Park. We also offer the following amenities: private lessons, grass tee driving range, practice greens, club rentals & power carts. In 2010, we hosted the BC Amateur and in 2011 the BC Senior games. The championship Castlegar Golf Course has hosted numerous Provincial and National tournaments. A must play on any Kootenay vacation; come and stay in our great new RV Park. The main venue for the Performing Arts in Trail is the beautiful Bailey Theatre. The Bailey hosts concerts, theatre, comedy and more from well-known acts like the Barenaked Ladies to smaller emerging talent such as Lisa Nicole. With a seating capacity of 721, the Theatre has an intimate atmosphere and all seats provide an excellent view of the stage. Smaller performances, events and meetings take place in the Muriel Griffiths Recital Room, next to the theatre, which holds 80-100 people.The Trail & District Arts Council programs many shows in these two venues, including four exciting series: Classical Series; Jazz at the Griff; Performing Arts Trail, and the Teck Family Series.
