6km from ferry, in the Bennett Bay area. Quiet, peaceful, nestled amongst towering fir trees and brushed by ocean breezes is Mayne Islands year round cottage resort. Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced accommodation. Nine cottages including studios, one bedrooms and two bedrooms all with large kitchens and full bathrooms. Many with fireplaces. Battle Abbey Backcountry Lodge, operated by Weber Powder, offers all inclusive (guided & catered) refined mountain experiences in the remote British Columbia backcountry. Established in 1978 by Hans Gmoser (the founder of CMH), Battle Abbey is perched at 2200M in the sub alpine and sits on 10,000 acres of exclusive world-class terrain. From steep tree skiing below the lodge to high alpine bowls, couloirs and long glaciated runs above, there is Supreme Skiing for all weather conditions.
