Contained within 20-acres of untouched land on Bowen Island, Nectar features 7 cozy, Scandinavian-inspired cottages and 3 rooms; locally grown organic food; yoga and meditation sessions; and enhancements such as massage and tarot readings.

Outer Shores Expeditions is a small-ship, niche adventure travel company specializing in multi-day wildlife and cultural sailing expeditions to Haida Gwaii, Vancouver Island, and the Great Bear Rainforest aboard our 70' classic wooden schooner, Passing Cloud. Our small-ship expeditions provide extraordinary and intimate opportunities from April to November, for small groups of six guests to be immersed in the ancient cultures and stunning wildlife of Canadas Pacific Coast. Quaaout Lodge & Spa at Talking Rock Golf Resort, the pride of the Skwlx te Secwepemculecw (Little Shuswap Lake Band), is situated on the north shore of Little Shuswap Lake. Located midway between Vancouver & Calgary the Resort is located just minutes off the Trans Canada Highway, a 45 minute drive east from Kamloops, or a scenic 2 hour drive north from Kelowna International Airport. The Lodge's guest rooms suffered a severe structure fire in the spring of 2022, resulting in losing the accommodation wing. Skwlx te Secwepemculecw have committed to a rebuild with hopes to open in 2026. The Resort is still open, including Le7ke Spa, Conference Center, Talking Rock Golf Course (seasonal) & Jack Sams Restaurant (seasonal).

The North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre is located in a park-like setting with a peaceful rustic atmosphere. When visiting the centre you will be able to view eagles, several species of owls, falcons, hawks, ravens, and black bears. Rehabilitating eagles can be viewed through one way glass in the largest flight enclosure of its kind in Canada. The Centre's mandate is the rehabilitation of injured and orphaned native wildlife, with a focus on raptors and black bears. GUIDED TOURS: are available for groups of 15 or more. HOURS OF OPERATION: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 7 days a week. ENTRANCE FEES: $15.00.00 adults, $6.00 children aged 3-12, plus applicable taxes.
