The Fair at the PNE is the best part of summer! For the last two weeks of August through the Labour Day long weekend, The Fair features more than 50 rides and attractions, nightly concerts, live performances, agricultural and animal displays, games, and food. It's fun for all ages plus children 13 years and under are free with an adult admission. The Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) fairgrounds was established in 1910 to showcase British Columbia. The PNE operates on a 114-acre site at the City of Vancouver-owned Hastings Park and consists of Playland, the annual 15-day Fair at the PNE, and Fright Nights at Playland. The PNE also includes year-round rental facilities for concerts, conventions, trade shows and sporting events with the Pacific Coliseum the largest venue within Hastings Park. The Pacific Coliseum was proud to be the official venue for Short Track Speed Skating and Figure Skating during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and is currently home to the WHL's Vancouver Giants hockey team. No single location in Vancouver captures the spirit and history of this city, its people and its many achievements as the Pacific National Exhibition. For over 100 years, millions of guests have enjoyed shows, exhibits, sporting events, amusement rides, concerts, cultural activities and, of course, the annual Fair at the PNE. Moto Experience is an Adventure Motorcycle touring company based in Pemberton, British Columbia which is 30kms north of Whistler. We specialize in guided motorcycle adventures showcasing the unreal sights and scenery that were so lucky to be surrounded by. Big Bar Guest Ranch is proudly owned by Stswecemc Xgattem First Nation (SXFN), a community located in a semi-remote area on the the Fraser River, approximately 85 kilometers southwest of Williams Lake. Once two distinct bands, Canoe Creek (Stswecemc) and Dog Creek (Xgattem), our two Secwepemc communities joined together in the late 1800s. We honour our separate histories and our coming together. In the 1860s, more than 10,000 people traversed the Caribou Wagon Roadin search of a new life, land to raise cattle, or a gold strike. Harry Marriott, an immigrant from England, started working for the notorious Gang Ranch, one the largest ranch in Canada. Marriot acquired smaller ranches and land parcels, eventually consolidating them into the O.K Ranching Company, with access over 200,000 acres of cattle country and wilderness. Marriott partnered with his friend and Vancouver banker, George S Harrison and sectioned off 100 acres of their mutual land acquisition for his personal use. This was the beginning of Big Bar Guest Ranch. Much is unchanged since the Harrison family used Big Bar Ranch as their family retreat. The original family home, "The Harrison House", built in 1936 with logs and stone hewn and selected from the property, continues to provide a cozy retreat for guests on holiday relaxing in the great room in front of the fire place, or playing a cowboy song on the guitar in the music room. Big Bar guests have access to the original acreage of the OK Cattle Company, and can venture out across unspoiled pasture lands and forests. What has changed is that Big Bar Guest Ranch is now a part of our shared community vision of becoming an economically and politically self-sustaining community living Secwepemc culture, language, and traditions in a healthy and safe environment. Stswecemc Xgattem First Nation invites you to Big Bar Guest Ranch to experience the dramatic landscape of traditional SXFN Territory: interlocking valleys and plateaus, situated between bold and snow topped mountain ranges. The SS Sicamous is the largest surviving paddle wheeler in Canada. It is open as a heritage site, museum and wedding venue. Launched in 1914, the ship provided a vital means of transport to remote communities on the shores of Okanagan Lake. The SS Sicamous is operated by the SS Sicamous Society: a non-profit organization that works to protect the marine heritage of the Okanagan.Funds from your admission go directly to the restoration of the SS Sicamous, and the other heritage ships in our care.

The Bill Reid Gallery is the only public Gallery in Canada dedicated to contemporary Indigenous Northwest Coast Art and honours Bill Reid by exhibiting the Bill Reid SFU Art Collection as well as presenting special exhibitions and programs that build bridges between all peoples, including Indigenous and settler populations. The Gallery is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Vancouver and can be found within a short walking distance from the Canada Lines City Centre Station located in Pacific Centre or the Millenium/Expo Lines Burrard Station.
