A feast for the senses, our Joy Rides help people find JOY in their journey through boutique day, multi-day, guided and self-guided experiences.

Chims Cabins is located on the west side of Port Alberni along Highway 4, just a 57 minute drive from the city centre and event venues. Ideal for travelers heading to Tofino, visiting for work, or couples seeking quiet comfort. We offer six (6) self-contained cabins with private entrances, full kitchens, and mountain views. Cabins feature queen beds or a combination of queen and double beds, with pull-out couches and roll-up cots available in select units. Amenities include free Rogers Business Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and one dedicated parking spot per unit (extra parking available upon request). Our eco-conscious property offers on-site garbage, recycling, and food waste disposal. Rates are based on double occupancy (2 guests sharing a queen bed) or number of beds provided. $25 + tax per night applies for each extra guest using the pull-out or cot. Family-owned and operated, Chims Cabins offers the comforts of home in a peaceful setting.

Tightrope Winery is a small, family-run, sustainable winery on the Naramata Bench. A true labour of love for owners Lyndsay (winemaker) and Graham ORourke (viticulturist). We make hand-crafted, sustainable wines with artistry and passion that capture the soul of Naramata - the personality, character, culture and fruit of the Bench. We consider ourselves stewards of the land and take a wholly sustainable approach from grape to glass. We choose this for the good of the wine, the land and those who work it, and the generations to come. As the first Certified Sustainable Winery & Vineyard we incorporate many sustainable practices including no insecticides nor herbicides in the vineyard, solar power, use of winemaking waste materials to generate compost to fertilize the vineyard, and social responsibility to name a few. You are always welcome to visit us at the Wine Shop and Tasting Room. Our Tasting Room is open by appointment.

The Nelson Museum, Archives & Gallery is a multi-faceted organization with a history museum exhibition, regional archives, two contemporary gallery spaces and a fabulous gift shop. The history museum features an introduction to the Sinixt and Ktunaxa nations, culture and perspectives, the history of European exploration and the challenges of trade and travel routes, and how various industries such mining, transportation, hydroelectricity affected the area and the creation of the Queen City. Our galleries rotate exhibitions eight times per year and feature everything from contemporary art and pop culture, to fine craft and design, to local architectural and social history the Nelson Museum's exhibitions connect to this areas creative energy and rich heritage. The gift shop features wares from over 100 local artists and authors. If you are looking for a gift that reflects Nelson and areas abundant talent and craft, you will certainly find it in our superbly curated Shop.

Manning Park Resort is a four season, family-friendly resort in the heart of the Cascade Mountains that offers year-round camping and accommodation; hiking, biking, canoeing and paddling; skiing/snowboarding; 64km of cross-country ski trails; snowshoeing; and an outdoor ice rink. It has full Resort amenities, including a variety of accommodations, restaurant, pub, swimming pool and recreational activities, all in a beautiful natural setting. The Resort is within E.C. Manning Provincial Park, which means there are incredible hiking trails, and multi-purpose trails for biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross- and back-country trails in the winter. In winter, our downhill ski and Nordic areas have a great progression for all levels, and we see consistently great conditions, due to our higher elevation and by virtue of being slightly more inland than the Coastal Mountains. We are about Fresh Air Experiences, and we like to think we have something for everyone!

Mills Landing is a small oceanfront cottage resort on the west coast of Vancouver Island. We cater to people looking for exceptional marine and fishing adventures, and pride ourselves in providing exceptional service in Bamfield BC, Vancouver Island's most historic coastal fishing village. We have four cabins and one house that are available for rental, all with varying amounts of bedrooms and sizes of beds. Our fish cleaning station has a top of the line commercial vacuum sealer as well as a commercial freezer for your catch.

A nostalgic and chic boutique winery operated by a young family. Award-winning wines and always a fun atmosphere in our public tasting room and giftware boutique. We are open year round with no reservations required: 10:00 am to 5:30 or 7:00 pm daily from mid-March to Oct.31 and noon to 4:00 pm, Tuesday to Sunday from Nov. 1 to mid-March. Everyone has a story, it seems, from back in the good old days, which makes a visit to Nostalgia Wines a trip down memory lane. The folks here just love to listen to these stories as they run their friendly tasting room, winery, and 17-acre vineyard.

Some of our destinations include Whistler, the North Shore Mountains, Bowen Island, the Gulf Islands, and Squamish. Once known as Damali Lavender Farm and Winery, this historic estate was acquired by owners Stephen and Tricia in the spring of 2023 and is experiencing a renaissance with a full-scale renovation of the winery, tasting room, and gardens. The planting of nearly 2,000 vines includes varietals, such as Grner Veltliner, Albarino, and Verdelho. Tracing its roots back to 2006, the vineyard veterans of Cabernet Libre, Castel, Siegerrebe, and Pinot Noir thrive on the cobble-sloped soils. Little Straw Vineyards is a family-owned estate winery with vineyard plantings dating back to the late-60's. The majority of our wines are made from our estate-grown grapes. We offer an electric array of wine-related condiments, regional literature, and gift items to round out your visit. The Slamkas planted their vineyard in 1969 with the intention of selling grapes to large commercial wineries in the area. By 1996, the three Slamka sons had established their own beautiful winery overlooking the Okanagan lake in West Kelowna. The Sidhu family owners of Kalala Organic Estate Winery they took over ownership in 2021 and have kept the Slamkas legacy alive. They brought Organic farming to Little Straw's Vineyards which added organic certification as one another achievement in Legacy of Little Straw.

We are located on the beautiful Naramata Bench in the heart of the Okanangan Valley. At LA FRENZ, we believe the quality in the bottle begins in the vineyard. Cutting edge and meticulous vineyard practices are used in combination with varieties tailored to the unique soils and micro climates of our vineyard sites to produce the vibrant and intense grape characters found only in the Okanagan Valley. The potential of the resulting fruit, using experience and careful stewardship throughout the vinification process, is maintained and enhanced to create exceptional wines that truly reflect the grape variety and vineyard site. We welcome you to our unique wine shop overlooking Lake Okanagan. From April through October, we are open Thursday- Monday (closed Tuesday and Wednesday), 10am to 5pm for tastings and purchases. Join us on our patio for a seated tasting experience or sample at the tasting bar. Seating is limited so reservations are encouraged.
