Experience the excitement of the early West Coast fur trade at Fort Langley and stand in the spot where BC was proclaimed a British colony in 1858. Explore the scenic fort - built by the Hudsons Bay Company in 1827 - where fur traders once exchanged furs, salmon and cranberries with Indigenous communities. Fort Langley is packed with interactive displays and activities for the whole family, including a children's play area. Watch blacksmithing, barrel-making and baking demonstrations, or pan for gold and laugh along with an interpretive program. Sasquatch Mountain Resort
Sasquatch Mountain Resort is a small ski resort located in the Douglas Ranges near Harrison Lake, British Columbia, Canada, between the towns of Mission and Agassiz. Average annual snowfall at Hemlock Valley is 30-35 ft more than most other areas in Canada. The vertical drop is 396 m (1,300 ft) from a summit elevation of 1,371 m (4,500 ft) to a base elevation of 975m (3,300 ft). The area comprises 121 hectares (300 acres) and has 36 runs, the longest of which is 1.4 miles (2.3 km). The area has four lifts - one quad chair, one triple chair, one double chair and a beginner carpet. The resort features night skiing and tubing as well as 13 kilometres of trails for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.

During the pandemic, the Sidney Street Market was transformed into the "Sidney Outdoor Markets". Its new location off Beacon Avenue, next to the Mary Winspear Centre, hosts two markets per week throughout the summer.
