Tofino is a beautiful rural town that is situated in the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve as well as the United Nations World Biosphere Reserve. During peak season, the small town of Tofino boasts tourists from all over the world, hence the recommendation of reserving accommodations in Tofino for your stay. The Himwitsa lodging in Tofino, presents a great location, fabulous breathtaking sunset views over Vargas Island and great rates! We have 4 suites available that suits every need to relax and enjoy the town of Tofino; whether you're on your honeymoon, on a weekend getaway in Tofino or travelling with family! We have three studio-styled suites that have a 180-degree view, and two apartment-styled suites that have a 90-degree view that overlooks the bustling harbour of Tofino. Moreover, four suites come with an outdoor seating area on your own private balcony! All rooms are equipped with a full bathroom, kitchenettes, TV, free wifi, and parking. On the edge of the West Coast in Tofino, Himwitsa Lodge is only minutes away from all the local shops, Tonquin Beach, tours for hot springs cove, whale watching, bear watching, kayaking and surfing. Situated alongside Hallamore Lake, Alpine Meadows Resort is 24 KMs outside of Clearwater BC, the gateway to Wells Gray Provincial Park. Choose from chalet, log suite or log home accommodations; or come see whats under the stars, and camp in your RV or one of our glamping tents. CHECK IN: Starts at 3 PM. Please note, Alpine Meadows is a small and remote resort, we do not operate a 24-hour Front Desk. Guests who anticipate arriving later than 9 PM should contact the resort in advance to confirm check-in procedures/availability. ** We are unable to accommodate arrivals after 9 PM without prior arrangements. ** DINING: Our onsite restaurant, The Boathouse, is open for breakfast and dinner daily. Dinner is by reservation only, please contact us directly in advance of your stay for available dinner times and to reserve, our restaurant closes after the last reservation has been served. Located 96 kms north of Fort Nelson, Tetsa River Regional Park offers 25 private, unserviced forested camp sites, day use area with picnic shelter and a children's playground. Foot access to the beautiful Tetsa River provides an opportunity for fly or rod fishing and wildlife viewing. Camp fees include firewood and are $20 per night, and by reservation only. Open May-September annually. Please note that picnic shelter and playground are closed under COVID-19 measures.
