The Fraser River Discovery Centre is a fun and friendly place for families of all ages in the heart of New Westminster, BC. We are here to discover the environment, economy and culture of the Fraser River through rotating exhibits and hands-on activities. We offer guided tours, field-trips, birthday parties, facility rentals and have a gift shop.

Conveniently located at the gateway to Whistler Village, the Whistler Cascade Lodge Hotel will be the warm welcome you crave after a day of travel. A truly ideal location, you will be only minutes from the Village's most popular activities, distinctive shops, and in-demand restaurants. During the winter season, the ski lifts are only a 10-minute walk or short bus trip away, via the complimentary village shuttle which stops directly outside the lodge. After a big day of activity, drop your skis off at the complimentary ski valet in the lobby and head straight to our relaxing outdoor pool and hot tubs (9am-10pm) to soak those tired muscles and unwind. Other features of the Cascade Lodge include secure underground parking (for a fee), laundry in our common areas (coin operated) or in-suite (1 and 2 bedroom suites), fitness room, male and female sauna, conference room and bike storage.

The Bulkley Valley Nordic Centre features a 52 km network of cross country ski trails through sheltered spruce and pine forest. 11 km of the trails are dog friendly. 5.5 kms of lit trails provide an excellent opportunity for skiing after work or school. Trail lights are on until 9:30 pm every night. The trails are groomed and set for both classic and skate techniques frequently. The Buchfink Memorial lodge offers a kitchen, indoor washrooms, change rooms, and a roomy seating area upstairs. The Gary Murdoch Memorial wax hut provides a warm and functional space for waxing.

The Dilworth Inn is an independent family owned hotel that offers an indoor pool, sauna & hot tub. Radius is a forested mountainside retreat offering walk in and hike in Yurt rentals. We are situated on 1000 acres which are open to explore in the summer, spring, and fall with trails for hiking, biking, and exploring. Radius is an off grid, sustainable wilderness area, and there is solar power in each yurt and we provide water and firewood for your stay. The yurts are anywhere from a 5 minute walk to a 7 km hike, and are all situated so that you feel like you are in peaceful solitude and truly a part of the natural area surrounding you, and yet only a few minutes from town and all the amenities it offers. Radius backs onto Kootenay National Park, extending the hiking and nature experience. Only 2 minutes from town, and just a short drive off the highway up to the main parking area, and you will feel like you have entered a whole new world of fresh air, solitude, peace and serenity.

Located in Brentwood Bay B.C., The Butchart Gardens is a world famous 55-acre (22ha) display garden. Started in 1904 by the Butchart’s and still privately owned by the family, The Gardens was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 2004. A Garden for all seasons, open year-round. In Spring, countless tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths offer a buffet of fragrances and colours. Summer is truly stunning from dawn past dusk featuring the Rose Garden, evening entertainment, subtle night illuminations, and the Saturday firework shows to name a few. In September 2019, Beaufort became the first organically certified vineyard on Vancouver Island. Winemaker Freya Timmermans crafts the vintage in small batches for a unique expression of our Islands cool coastal climate. Expect youthful, fruit-driven reds, and lively, aromatic whites. The Union Club of British Columbia began in 1879 and the current establishment was completed in 1913. It is one of the National Historic Sites of Canada. Situated across from Victoria Harbor, the Club is in the heart of the tourist, shopping and business districts.
