Tightrope Winery is a small, family-run, sustainable winery on the Naramata Bench. A true labour of love for owners Lyndsay (winemaker) and Graham ORourke (viticulturist). We make hand-crafted, sustainable wines with artistry and passion that capture the soul of Naramata - the personality, character, culture and fruit of the Bench. We consider ourselves stewards of the land and take a wholly sustainable approach from grape to glass. We choose this for the good of the wine, the land and those who work it, and the generations to come. As the first Certified Sustainable Winery & Vineyard we incorporate many sustainable practices including no insecticides nor herbicides in the vineyard, solar power, use of winemaking waste materials to generate compost to fertilize the vineyard, and social responsibility to name a few. You are always welcome to visit us at the Wine Shop and Tasting Room. Our Tasting Room is open by appointment.

Vancouvers old houses and the stories of the people who built and lived in them are my passion. My History Walks through Vancouvers heritage neighbourhoods: the East End/Strathcona, West End, Mount Pleasant, Grandview & Cedar Cottage, are a culmination of over two decades working as a house genealogist. During that time I produced in-depth histories of over 800 Vancouver houses. People call me the House Whisperer. My blog, When An Old House Whispers is followed by people in over 70 countries world wide. If you like walking through and photographing historic neighbourhoods, if you ever wanted to time travel, if you are curious to uncover the mysteries hidden behind the doors of old houses, if you have an ear for old-timers stories, my History Walks are for you! Our motel suite rates start at $65 a night (winter rate) and $75 a night (summer rate) and range to $115 a night, depending on your requirements. Our Orchard offers a peaceful setting for relaxation after a busy day. Enjoy the variety of trees, use the picnic tables or relax in the gazebo or grape arbor with a good book or refreshing beverage.

Huble Homestead Historic Site is a turn of the century heritage attraction located north of Prince George, BC, on Lheidli T'enneh keyoh. This living history museum, open daily from Victoria Day to Labour Day, is located alongside the Fraser River and offers visitors a glimpse of settler life in northern British Columbia. The site is open daily to the public for tours, special events, lunch, and shopping in the General Store. Huble Homestead is 40 km north of Prince George, just off Hwy 97 on Mitchell Road. Admission is by donation.

We offer world class salmon fishing charters from Quadra Island and Campbell River. The waters surrounding Quadra are known as the Salmon Capital of the World. All five species of salmon can be caught from May thru October. This makes a perfect environment for a successful fishing trip. You will fish in comfort out of a 24ft covered cruiser with marine head (toilet).

The Haven is a not-for-profit charitable organization located on beautiful Gabriola Island, BC, Canada. Accommodations range from rustic cabins tucked away among the trees to suites overlooking quiet coastline waters. Adventure awaits at Golden Skybridge, home to Canadas highest suspension bridges. The 100 Mile Nordics operate a groomed trail network for nordic skiing. Our lodge serves up hot soup and snacks daily. Rentals for skiing and snowshoeing are available. Night use is available until 10pm with the assistance of a timed lighting system. Payment at night is made in the honour box next to the lighting system.

The Whistler Brewing Co. is Whistler's original craft brewery established in 1989 on Alpha Lake Road in Whistler, BC. The Tap House opened in 2009 in Function Junction and is today still locally owned and operated. Whistler Brewing offers 10-15 brews a year, generally lighter and fruiter seasonal beers in the summer and darker ones in the winter. Join one of our fully guided tours and enjoy a tasting of our award winning beers in the Tap House. We also offer keg and packaged beer sales, a small food menu and our signature line of wearables and beeraphenalia!
