Trethewey House Heritage Site
Our drop-in tour hours are from 1-4 PM Monday-Friday. Trethewey House Heritage Site is operated by Heritage Abbotsford Society, a registered non-profit. Our mission is to collect, record, preserve and share the stories of Abbotsford. We offer a range of programs and experiences including site tours, exhibits, historical Abbotsford walking tours, and more - all by donation. The Heritage Site consists of Trethewey House, Joey's Playhouse, the Upper Sumas Train Station, a Heritage Gallery, and the Sylvia Pincott Heritage Habitat Garden. Trethewey House was built in 1919-1920 by Joseph Ogle "J.O." Trethewey. As President of the Abbotsford Lumber Company, J.O. was responsible for leadership of the company during the company's boom years in the 1920s. The House is built in the local Craftsman style and was constructed using primarily local materials, making it distinct from other buildings of similar age within the City of Abbotsford.
Huble Homestead Historic Site
Huble Homestead Historic Site is a turn of the century heritage attraction located north of Prince George, BC, on Lheidli T'enneh keyoh. This living history museum, open daily from Victoria Day to Labour Day, is located alongside the Fraser River and offers visitors a glimpse of settler life in northern British Columbia. The site is open daily to the public for tours, special events, lunch, and shopping in the General Store. Huble Homestead is 40 km north of Prince George, just off Hwy 97 on Mitchell Road. Admission is by donation.

Guided, 2-hour, hands-on rowing and sailing excursions with traditional boats on the Salish Sea. Located in Maple Bay, Cowichan, Vancouver Island, BC.
Davison Orchards Country Village
A family farm since 1933 growing a wide variety of quality Okanagan produce. Davison Orchards specializes in fresh cold-pressed Apple Juice, fresh baked pie, and Real Fruit Ice Cream along with a huge assortment of homemade jams and preserves. Davison Orchards is more than a Farm! You can sit on the patio looking over Vernon and towards the mountains while enjoying delicious treats made right at the Farmhouse Bakery. Take an Orchard Tour and learn a little history, a little about farming and have a whole lot of FUN! Farm animals, one acre children's play area, a gift shop, provide fun for all ages!
Burnaby Village Museum
Where History Comes to Life - Stroll down the streets of our 1920s community. Period costumed townsfolk welcome visitors and give demonstrations in the homes, businesses and shops. Visitors can feel the heat of the fire as the blacksmith works at the forge, hear the rhythm of the platen press at the Burnaby Post, smell freshly ground coffee in the General Store, be a 1920s student in a one-room schoolhouse, watch the tinsmith cut, crimp & curl flat sheets of tin into useful household items. Everyone is welcome to take a ride on the 1912 CW Parker Carousel, explore the restored 1912 Interurban Tram, and enjoy a treat in the Ice Cream Parlour. The Village is open seasonally (Spring Break in March, Summer Season- early May to Labour Day, and Heritage Christmas-late November to early January) and year-round for pre-booked groups and programs.
Cates Park Paddling Centre
Located in the beautiful setting of Cates Park, this site offers Kayak and SUP rentals run by Deep Cove Kayak - all just 100m from the beach. Same great kayaks, stand up paddleboards, and knowledgeable staff. No experience required - basic instruction and all necessary gear included. Please note that midweek we are open by-reservation.

Backyard Vineyards
Backyard Vineyards is nestled in the lush countryside of south Langley, less than an hour's drive from Vancouver. At Backyard Vineyards they harvest from their own Fraser Valley Estate vineyards and from their farmers' vineyards in the Okanagan Valley. Since opening in 2009 their wines have been recognized both locally and internationally, winning over 30 medals for quality and flavour. Reaching dedicated wine lovers and new tasters alike, they pride themselves in producing exceptional BC VQA wines at affordable prices. The tasting room and wine shop is open year round, providing an intimate setting to sample and enjoy. In the summertime visitors are welcome to take a stroll through the estate vineyard or enjoy a glass of wine paired with one of their delicious tasting platters under the beautiful outdoor covered gazebo. Bethlehem Centre
Bethlehem Centre is a cottage-at-the-lake style retreat and conference centre. Ideal for residential groups of 10-40 people, the Centre offers an all-inclusive experience with full meal service and on-site opportunities for quiet reflection and spiritual path-making. Situated on the shores of Westwood Lake at the foot of Mount Benson in Nanaimo, the Centre is a 5-minute walk from a swimming beach, is surrounded by forest, and is connected to miles of hiking trails. The Centre has an outdoor Chartres-style labyrinth, a finger labyrinth museum, a gift shop, a library, an organic vegetable garden and a contained eco-system outdoor pond.
