Having grown grapes for the last 20 years we have established ourselves as one of the premier award winning grape growers in the valley. Our story started with our family immigrating from India in the 1990's and making Okanagan our home. We have always worked to establish ourselves as hard working and determined family. The name Kismet is derived from the Punjabi word 'destiny'.

Located in the heart of Naramata Bench wine region, Hillside prides itself in proving its customers with the Ultimate Naramata Experience. Hillsides well-equipped cellar, under the direction Winemaker Kathy Malone, produces top quality Okanagan Valley wines destined for many markets. Unique, small-lot, and terroir-driven are terms best used to describe our wines. Our focus is showcasing hand-crafted wine made exclusively from our estate vineyards and other Naramata grape growers. Vaseux Lake Provincial Park is a popular roadside campground that provides excellent fishing opportunities for bass, trout and carp. This park boasts beautiful lakeside sites. It is conveniently located on Highway 97 between OK Falls and Oliver. It is minutes away from amenities and popular tourist spots. Viewing platforms at Vaseux Wildlife Centre offer excellent nature sighting opportunities for birds, aquatic life, mountain goats and big horn sheep. Park users at Vaseux Wildlife Centre should use caution as poison ivy is common in the area. Open from the first weekend in April through Thanksgiving Weekend.
