Painted Boat Resort & Marina is the premier resort on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada. Located two hours from Vancouver via BC Ferries from Horseshoe Bay and Highway 1, the Resort is also accessible by seaplane. Featuring 31 west-coast inspired, one-bed/two-bed & two-bed loft waterfront villas. Each villa has a gourmet, fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, patio and barbecue. All villas have waterfront views. Some dog friendly villas are available, and need to be reserved by calling Guest Services at the time of booking accommodation. We are a Non-profit Society preserving the history of the area that shows what life was like back in the Gold Rush days. The 108 Heritage Site has buildings on site going as far back as 1880. The buildings are opened everyday from May long weekend so people can see some of the great artifacts that they hold. The 105 Mile Roadhouse is open to the public to walk through. Our knowledgeable staff and students will be happy to give you a tour and talk about the house and how it was used then. The 108 Heritage Site runs mainly on donations from guests who appreciate and love the history behind the good old days

We are Bowen Islands eBike and Golf Cart Rental company. We rent electric bikes from Snug Cove, right next to the ferry terminal. We love exploring this island on our bikes, and hope you will too.

A short walk from downtown Nelson we are located on Kootenay Lake at the Prestige Marina. You can paddle right from our office. We have a convenient launching dock and paddles and life jackets are included with each rental. There is no more convenient place to get on the water!
