McLean Mill is a rare, surviving example of an early-to-mid 20th century logging and lumber operation in British Columbia. Established in 1925 by Robert Bartlett McLean, his wife Cora and their three sons, it continued as a family-run operation until 1965. McLean Mill was designated a national historic site of Canada in 1989 to commemorate its collection of extant resources related to significant aspects of the forest industry. Whether you wish to take in the history or to go for scenic walk with your family or fur baby, you wont be disappointed. The surroundings are breathtaking and informative. Grab the family, bring a picnic and make it a day at the Mill! 10am-4pm 7-Days/Week during the summer season, however the Mill and Steam Donkey are non operational at this present time. We have an amazing wedding venue - a rustic barn with just enough modern touches and beautiful exposed wood to make any event stunning! Ceremony and reception can be help at the same place with stunning backdrops of the mountains and Blaeberry River. Summer 2020 has us going back to our original business model rather than hosting weddings so we are excited to offer cabin rentals this year. If you've wanted to come stay with us in recent years and haven't been able to, now is your chance! Winter time is magical out here - our cabins sit amongst snowy trees and have wood burning fireplaces! Snowshoe trails are put in right on site as well. The cabins are all equipped with basic kitchenettes as there is no restaurant on site. Golden is a short, 10 minute drive away and offers a great selection of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. It's a must see property with lots to see and do.

I-Hos Gallery presents a collection of traditional and contemporary Northwest Coast artwork, including masks, prints, gold and silver jewelry, wood carvings and more produced by First Nations artists. I-Hos Gallery is Band owned and operated by K'omoks First Nation. Our culture is expressed through our art. We are located between Courtenay and Comox on Vancouver Island, on the site of the original Komoks Village. We deal directly with all of our First Nation artists and provide you with all legends and artist biographies.
