This par 70 jewel follows the contours of a salmon bearing stream which comes into play on several holes and also makes its annual contribution to the world's salmon capital, Port Alberni.

We also have a 250 yard driving range and practice green for putting and chipping. Quadra Island Golf offers free parking for oversized vehicles. We are an artist-owned fine art gallery specializing in traditional west coast style art of the Pacific Northwest. The gallery is on Tseshaht lands and houses Gordon Dick Studio while showcasing the work of local and regional artists. We carry handmade woodcarvings and jewelry, including masks, panels, free-standing or wall-mounted sculptures, doors, poles, and house beams. Country Maples RV Resort is located on Vancouver Island near the town of Chemainus, which is 14 km north of the City of Duncan. The Resort is nestled along the Chemainus River and is buffered by an old-growth forest. There is a variety of camping areas and amenities with 175 full and partial hookup RV sites (including 8 pull-throughs) with 15, 30 and 50-amp electrical service as well as dry camping and tenting sites. There are treed and open sites. There is an onsite (seasonal) general store, playgrounds, an arcade and laundry facilities; a heated swimming pool, 18-hole mini golf course. Short term winter stays available from early Sept - April 30.

The great swimming and fishing lake is teaming with Kokanee, Rainbow and Lake trout, as well as Burbout. Open Seasonally from April to November (weather permitting). Please note we have an abundance of wildlife that visits the resort (deer, fox, families of ducks etc), and to maintain this, we do not permit dogs in our campsites or cabins.

Enjoy the restored Tram Car 1220, originally built in 1912, and the largest artefact in the City of Richmonds museum collection. Housed in a building inspired by the architecture of the first Steveston tram station, Tram Car 1220 now rests on its original rail tracks. Nicknamed the Sockeye Special, the interurban tram service carried workers from Vancouver to Steveston to work in the canneries, from 1905 to 1958.
