We are a Vancouver Island Fishing Lodge located in Quatsino on the North West Coast. We target Chinook, Halibut, Ling Cod, Coho and Tuna. The Vagabond Lodge, is a boutique lodge located at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Golden BC. All rooms are located on the upper level of this 3 story building. There is no elevator just so you are aware. The beautifully decorated rooms all have great views of the majestic Rocky Mountains. All bedrooms have private bathrooms with shower/tub enclosures and all bathrooms have heated floors. Vagabond Lodge does not have air conditioning but for the few days in the mountains where it may be considered hot by some standards, the windows all open to the fresh mountain air. A hearty and healthy breakfast featuring sourdough bread, eggs, pancakes, yogurt, cereals and more is complimentary. Lower level features a pool table, games area with all sorts of board games and access to sauna and outdoor hot tub.

This is a 6 acre campground in a quiet forested rural-residential area with big trees and very few mosquitoes. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers. There are private huts and tent and RV sites. It is beautiful land . Shared amenities include a community building with a full kitchen, bathrooms with free hot showers and flush toilets and a wood stove. Other amenities include free WiFi, rain-shelters, picnic tables, a barbecue area, fire pits and hammocks. Valhalla Park, Slocan Lake, Nelson, and Castlegar are 35 minutes away. Nelson has many fine restaurants and a thriving art, music and dance scene. Stay here as a base for outdoor adventure, to reconnect with the forest, or just to relax. The Slocan River is ideal for floating or paddling and its very close.
