Hotel Zed Tofino is a hotel experience that completely rebels against the ordinary. You may be used to our retro-chic motel feel in our other Hotel Zed locations, but Hotel Zed Tofino is a whole new vibe. Think: totally gorgeous, swanky 70's pad. But this isn't your Granny's crib (unless your Granny was a very stylish rebel!) Our rooms and public areas are groovy and chilled out. The style is deluxe and you'll never get bored here with our sunken living room, retro office, psychic's den and...what's that? A bike path that runs through the middle of the lobby? Yeah, you've never seen anything like this before. Plus, weve got an on-site bird sanctuary for you nature lovers. World-famous Chesterman Beach and the Inlet are both a short stroll from the hotel, and if you wanna roll into town were right on the bike path. WHY We strongly believe that one should be able to drink high quality, single vineyard (non-commodity), small production wines that are priced reasonably from British Columbia. We plan to be around 20 years from now, not by becoming a large company but by creating a sustainable business within our community. For us part of that means making wines that always over deliver. HOW We spend all of our money on our wines, not our marketing. We eschew heavy bottles, advertising and fancy labels. In the winery we use old French Oak (not expensive) and have very little in the way of technology (still use basket presses). We are also not part of any marketing groups nor do we submit wines to award or trade shows - all of which cost money. Every penny we save goes toward the quality of our wines and to keeping their prices stable. We hope you enjoy.
