Timberline Lodges is the ultimate on-mountain condo complex at Fernie Alpine Resort. Situated within walking distance of the chairlifts and village base area, the complex consists of six lodges with options from a studios through to 2-bedroom + loft condos. Fernie Lodging Company (Fernie's largest accommodation provider) manages vacation rentals in the complex and has an office/front desk on-site. The Residences provide spacious, fully-equipped condos with modern kitchens, living and dining areas, and multiple bedrooms. Perfect for extended stays, they offer all the comforts of home.

This well-treed campground offers a private and peaceful setting for campers of all kinds, with a deep forest on the south end in the first-come, first-served section, transitioning to a wetland on the north end in the reservable section. Lowhee Campground has 47 campsites that can be booked in advance, as well as 33 campsites in the first-come, first-served section. It features a playground, three washroom buildings with flush toilets and potable water, as well as a coin-operated shower house. Bear-proof garbage and recycling bins are offered in central locations throughout the campground. All campsites are equipped with a wheelchair-accessible picnic table and campfire ring. Firewood is available for an additional fee of $10 per day. Campsites are an average of 50 feet long and 14 feet wide and can accommodate most trailers and RVs when backed into the sites. Pull-through sites are available in the Forest Rose Campground. Lowhee Campground is located along the west side of Barkerville Highway, 2 km north of the Barkerville Visitor Centre. Guests can travel back and forth from the Historic Zone to Lowhee via the highway, or via a well-groomed walking path alongside the highway. Lowhee Campground is part of the 1,100-hectare property that forms Barkerville Historic Town & Park and is managed by Barkerville Heritage Trust.
