Backyard Vineyards is nestled in the lush countryside of south Langley, less than an hour's drive from Vancouver. At Backyard Vineyards they harvest from their own Fraser Valley Estate vineyards and from their farmers' vineyards in the Okanagan Valley. Since opening in 2009 their wines have been recognized both locally and internationally, winning over 30 medals for quality and flavour. Reaching dedicated wine lovers and new tasters alike, they pride themselves in producing exceptional BC VQA wines at affordable prices. The tasting room and wine shop is open year round, providing an intimate setting to sample and enjoy. In the summertime visitors are welcome to take a stroll through the estate vineyard or enjoy a glass of wine paired with one of their delicious tasting platters under the beautiful outdoor covered gazebo. They host several exciting events throughout the year and are happy to accommodate private tours and events. Kasiks Wilderness Resort, also known as Kasiks Lodge and Campground has 10 lodge rooms and 24 campsites. Kasiks is a great home base while exploring all the Northwest Coast has to offer. Explore our beautiful and cozy campground nestled amongst the trees surrounded by majestic mountains and near the banks of the Skeena River. We have space for bike camping and bike packing too! Add Kasiks Campground to your route planning as a safe space to rest and recharge on your journey. Kasiks lodge has 4 deluxe suites with private bathrooms and 6 standard rooms with shared bathrooms. We are situated 60 km West of Terrace and 90 km East of Prince Rupert and Port Edward. VISIT OUR CAFE! Kitchen Hours: We are open daily for lunch only, from 11:00 AM 3:00 PM for hot food menu orders. Enjoy fresh ground locally roasted coffee, grabn go sandwiches, baked goodies (made daily) and waffle cone ice cream from 9:00 AM 5:00 PM to the public.

Wine Tours, Bike Tours, Dinner Transfers, Airport Transfers, Metered Taxi.The cost can be split by anywhere up to 6 passengers. So....very affordable. Last year there was a demand for the wine tours by boaters coming here from many ports on the lake.

Located in the beautiful setting of Cates Park, this site offers Kayak and SUP rentals run by Deep Cove Kayak - all just 100m from the beach. Same great kayaks, stand up paddleboards, and knowledgeable staff. No experience required - basic instruction and all necessary gear included. Please note that midweek we are open by-reservation.
