Ross Bay Villa
Journey back in time at Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum, a volunteer-led museum and restoration project located in Fairfield. On Thursdays and Fridays at 11AM and 1PM, or Saturdays at 2PM, walk down the path past heritage apple trees and beautiful gardens and step into one of only a few 1860s houses still standing in Victoria. From the bright and airy drawing room to the charming childrens bedroom, the house has been restored with extraordinary care to appear as it did when the Roscoe family called it home. All funds support the volunteer-based Ross Bay Villa Society, which owns and operates Ross Bay Villa. Drop in a little early for your Saturday tour for our Gift Shop In the Garden. (by appointment) Text or email for a fun-filled educational activity, have the whole family go on a 1 1/4 hour farm adventure. Tour the farm, meet, feed, learn about 20 varieties of farm animals. Interact, pet and hold the small critters in the petting pen. Feed from your animal goodie bag, say hello to the talking horse, sitting micro pig who makes funny faces, and walking goat.
