We offer world class salmon fishing charters from Quadra Island and Campbell River. The waters surrounding Quadra are known as the Salmon Capital of the World. All five species of salmon can be caught from May thru October. This makes a perfect environment for a successful fishing trip. You will fish in comfort out of a 24ft covered cruiser with marine head (toilet).

Located on peaceful Denman Island, Fillongley Provincial Park is a short 10-minute ferry crossing from Buckley Bay (located between Qualicum Beach and the town of Courtenay). Fillongley is a popular small campground. It has 10 oceanside, compact campsites. It is 80% reservable and reservations are strongly recommended due to the limited number of campsites available. This is the only provincial campground on Denman Island; campers may camp in the adjacent day-use parking lot overnight when the main campground is full (regular camping fees apply to overflow camping).

We provide guided Hiking and Kayaking/Paddleboarding tours for guests in Sooke, B.C. We also offer Kayak and Paddleboard rentals for those who want to explore on their own. Mystic beach adventures is located in Sooke a one hour drive from Victoria B.C.

The Ladysmith Gallery hosts two art shows a month that are open to the public - a monthly member art show featuring a variety of artworks around a different theme from Vancouver Island and Gulf Island artists; followed by a 10 day guest artist exhibition. The Discovery Passage Aquarium offers fun and unique hands-on educational experiences for people of all ages. Come to see, touch and feel our incredible local marine species and habitats and discover the diverse marine life of Discovery Passage and Islands. The Aquarium is open from spring until fall each year. Specimens from representative local species are collected from the marine environment in the spring and returned to the area of collection at the end of the season.
