Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing is a British Columbia original, sitting on Tyaughton Lake and surrounded by the Southern Chilcotin Mountains. The kitchen features a seasonal a la carte menu from a passionate team of chefs. Additionally, guests can choose to stay at one of the three luxury wilderness chalets at the resort. Offering private accommodations for up to 18 guests (depending on the chalet), they are perfect for a family reunion or getaway. In the summer, if camping is more your approach, guests can choose from five RV lakefront sites and one non-lakefront site. We also have five tent friendly campsites available with water, washrooms, and showers. One tent per site, four people per site maximum.

The cabins are set on or near the lake, with gorgeous views of the lake & the coast mountains. Enjoy campfires at your private fire pit or in our large, screened in gazebo. One pet per cabin is welcome in 4 of the cabins. Two RV sites & One Tent site available, all firewood is provided. Rent a boat or bring your own and enjoy fishing for wild rainbow trout. Non motorized watercraft are free to all cabin guests. The area also offers horseback riding, hiking, nature viewing & flight seeing. Please call or email us for information and reservations. Strongwater camping and cabins is the closest accommodation to the trail entrance to the world famous Skookumchuck Rapids. We offer 12 wonderful pull-in campsites each with fire pit and picnic table. We also offer 8 sleeping cabins with mini fridges, table and chairs and comfy beds. Modern, comfortable showers and bathroom facilities are on site for the use of all guests.

We offer a quiet Couples only Resort. The 3 log cabins are very private and generously spaced. Each cabin features a fully equipped kitchenette, private bathroom, free Satellite TV, dining area, half covered porch with furniture, full mountain views and free WIFI around the lodge. Cell phones work at the cabins and can be used to create a WIFI Hot spot. A picnic area and campfire-pit are next to each chalet. 10 minutes away from Mount Robson, in Mount Robson Provincial Park, British Columbia.Located in Tete Jaune Cache, a 1-hour scenic drive to Jasper downtown or 30 minutes to Jasper National Park. Valemount is located 12 minutes south on Hwy 5, for shopping and a variety of restaurants. We are open year round. Service in English and German. Maps, travel guides, insider info will be on the table in the cabin for our guests at check in. All year round hiking and activities are nearby. Free parking near the cabins. We offer convenient self check in starting at 3pm.
