Built in 1894 in the historic fishing village of Steveston, the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site is one of B.C.'s few historically intact canneries. The Parks Canada site commemorates the history and the contributions of the diverse communities and cultures of Canada's West Coast fishing industry. At Field House we have a mantra of field to fist, showcasing the best of the Fraser Valley in everything we do. With a focus on innovation and adventure our beers are uncommon takes on classic styles capturing the terroir of East Abbotsford in our both our drinkable ales and aged sours. Made possible through our Field House Farms project, we are reclaiming underused farmland to produce as much of our own ingredients as we can for both our beers and our ever growing Canteen Kitchen. We created our tasting room with community as our focus, whether its our cozy fireplace, our long tables underneath our covered heated patio or our spacious beer lawn perfect for summer concerts, Field House is a space to share good beers and good eats with friends. Whistler's new BMX track is located in Bayly Park in the Cheakamus Crossing neighbourhood and is open to the public from dawn to dusk. Led by the volunteer-based Whistler BMX Club, the track and club caters to a wide range of abilities, from preschoolers on run bikers to beginner riders to national level athletes.

This gallery is a hidden gem with the work of 26 artists displayed over several rooms. Spacious viewing rooms allow visitors to take in the broad range of artistic styles and subject matters. From the large paintings to the smaller works (fit well in a suitcase), the gallery has a lot to offer. Browsers welcome! The First Friday of each month features an evening reception with artists present, art demos and fun conversation.

As a female business owner and entrepreneur with a background in marketing, it has been my dream to help grow and promote the local art community in Vancouver. I created Pacific Arts Market to showcase our city's local artistic talent and diversity. Local artists exhibit paintings, jewelry, pottery, photography, leather goods, woodwork and other crafts. My role is to be a catalyst that unites creative artisans with art-loving consumers. Once inside, all the unique & stunning pieces of art will speak for themselves.
