Hedley Museum & Tourist Booth
The Hedley Museum is closed for the 2022 season now. Opening again in May of 2023. Opening hours generally include Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Mondays 10:00-4:00pm. In 2023 we hope to be open 7 days a week for July and August. A charming heritage museum in the heart of the Similkameen Valley, that shares the towns gold mining history. The building houses a gift shop, tea room and an amazing collection of photos, stories and artifacts. The back garden is shaded and provides a welcome place to sit and enjoy the day. The building is wheel accessible and air conditioned. Admission is by donation and our tour guides will gladly show you around the museum. Also lots of brochures, maps and info for tourists & visitors at the info booth inside the museum.

Golden River Adventures
Golden River Adventures offers Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) and Inflatable Kayak Tours in Golden, British Columbia. We offer two distinct tours: WAPTA FALLS WILD & SCENIC Today, we can travel these routes and imagine the hardships that must have been endured on these shorelines. mountain passes and trails. The result is one of the most unique tours in the Canadian Rockies, travelling historic trade route. This tour begins on the Beaver River and travels to the confluence of the Beaver and Kicking Horse Rivers. From there, in true Canadian fashion, participants engage in a short portage along one of the original portage routes of the Canadian West. Natives and explorers alike travelled these exact waterways and trails centuries ago. Highlights include paddling to the base of Wapta Falls, the Rockies most photographed waterfall. From there the trip continues down Class 1 Whitewater. Most of this tour occurs within Yoho National Parks, and at any point participants can glance up for sweeping views of Mount Chancellor, the Canadian Rockies peak over 10,000 feet that straddles the Western Flank of this world-renowned Mountain Range. The tour is 5 hours in length from start to finish, and departs daily at 10 AM The Wapta Falls Wild & Scenic Tour is offered Daily. With a maximum guide to participant ratio of 5:1, seating on this tour is very limited. Reservations are strongly recommended. PRICE = $129 PP CAD DOLLARS COLUMBIA VALLEY EXPLORER The Kicking Horse & Columbia River waterways through the town of Golden boast a historical significance to the Columbia area. With the stunning backdrop of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and the the Purcell Mountain Range, this tour is shorter and more urban in nature than the Wild & Scenic Wapta Tour. We will see remnants of the old docks of a bygone area that were at one time a lifeline for the residents of golden to accessing goods. We will travel under the Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge, the longest covered timber bridge in Canada. Once we come to the terminus of the Kicking Horse River we will travel the Columbia River for a short while. This is a good time in the evening to catch a glimpse of black bears near the water's edge, although it is not guaranteed. With a guide ratio of 5:1 Reservations are strongly recommended. Moon Water Lodge
NEW OWNERS APRIL 2014! We are a west-coast style, boutique hotel, located near the top of the historic, Malahat Drive on Vancouver Island. Overlooking the Saanich Inlet, you will be taken a world away from the routine of day to day life. Bear Camp
Deluxe safari tents with with either king bed or two doubles. The camp is perched on a 630' long deck 16 feet in the air above the water's edge. Packages are all-inclusive with chef-prepared meals, guided activities and grizzly bear, eagle and salmon watching in the autumn months. Fishing, hiking, biking, rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, SUPing, and wildlife viewing are included. Round trip private flights and transportation packages from Vancouver are included in our all-inclusive packages.
