The Van Dop Gallery is Canada's premiere home gallery, exemplifying the union of art and living. Gabriola Visitor Info Centre is located a 2 minute drive from the ferry terminal. Gabriola has beautiful natural spots to explore: Malaspina Galleries, Sandwell Provincial Park, Drumbeg Provincial Park and Gabriola Sands Provincial Park. We have a variety of restaurants, shops, accommodations, lots of recreation options. Gabriola is known as the Isle of the Arts.

Vancouver’s first Indigenous food truck Mr Bannock shares Indigenous cuisine, using fresh local ingredients and ancient cooking methods such as smoking clay and stone baking. Since 2018, Mr Bannock has catered events throughout Vancouver and has served thousands of bannock tacos.

Conveniently located along Highway 3, Boundary Creek campground is a well situated overnight stop and popular for those passing through the Boundary Region. Boundary Creek is a first come, first serve park and often has spots available, even during peaks periods. A slagheap and crumbling stack near the park mark the site of the historic BC Copper Co. smelter, which employed 400 people between 1901 and 1918. The quaint town of Greenwood is minutes away and offers many amenities, including restaurants, cafes and a pub. Open from early May through mid September.

Hello Adventurers! Come join us for a kayaking adventure....some relaxation, fresh air & sunshine and exercise. Shake off the doldrums and immerse yourself in a quiet wilderness paddle. The scenery is spectacular here with mountain vistas, old growth rainforests, and our amazing wildlife. What better way to see all of this than to paddle the shores of beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada in a kayak. We are open from April to September. Adventuress offers fun wildlife tours, sunset paddles or multi-day adventures. Day tours and sunset paddles start as low as $69/person and include instruction, kayak and gear, dry bags and a certified guide; no experience necessary.
