Doug has decades of fishing and guiding experience around the local waters of Vancouver Island, and the Queen Charlotte Islands. His brand new vessel 29 Grady White Sailfish, has the top of the line electronics and tackle, which gives you the best chance of landing a great catch all whilst staying comfortable and having the time of your life!

Where History Comes to Life - Stroll down the streets of our 1920s community. Period costumed townsfolk welcome visitors and give demonstrations in the homes, businesses and shops. Visitors can feel the heat of the fire as the blacksmith works at the forge, hear the rhythm of the platen press at the Burnaby Post, smell freshly ground coffee in the General Store, be a 1920s student in a one-room schoolhouse, watch the tinsmith cut, crimp & curl flat sheets of tin into useful household items. Everyone is welcome to take a ride on the 1912 CW Parker Carousel, explore the restored 1912 Interurban Tram, and enjoy a treat in the Ice Cream Parlour. The Village is open seasonally (Spring Break in March, Summer Season- early May to Labour Day, and Heritage Christmas-late November to early January) and year-round for pre-booked groups and programs.

Surrounded by mountains, lakes and the forest, youll find our stunning Rocky Ridge Resort with its amazing log cabins which you can rent. Rocky Ridge Resort is a 105 acres Resort which includes three Cabins, a Saloon and a Sauna. Do you love the Canadian wilderness but also enjoy the comforts of home? Then youve found the perfect spot at the Rocky Ridge Resort! Enjoy your time here in one of our lovely and very cozy log cabins. You can choose between one of our twin cabins or a smaller one which is a bit away from the other two. The twin cabins The Bear Cabin and The Eagle Cabin are pretty similar to each other. Both have a fully equipped kitchen with propane, two bathrooms with indoor plumbing and one with a shower, an open little living room with a woodstove in it, a separate bedroom with a queen size bed downstairs and three beds upstairs. So up to six people can stay there- perfect for a family or if you want to spend time with your friends! The third one the Honeymoon or Hummingbird Cabin is the smallest one. It have a fully equipped kitchen as well, a small livingroom, a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, two beds upstairs and one bathroom with indoor plumbing. We dont have electricity in any of our cabins, everything works with propane. Theres also a small house with a nice Sauna, a bathroom and a separate shower inside perfect to calm down after an adventurous day or just to relax! Guests with campers, caravans and tents are also welcome at our Resort.

Queen Charlotte Lodge defines exciting BC fishing adventures in the Haida Gwaii. Our resort staff and management believe that guests deserve luxurious accommodations, exciting fishing, fine food and wines, and relaxing activities with friends. Guided or unguided fishing packages include transportation from Vancouver via chartered jet and an exciting 15 minute helicopter flight from Masset to the lodge in Naden Harbour at the northern end of Haida Gwaii. Inkaneep Provincial Park is nestled in tall riverside cottonwoods in a residential area. This park offers wonderful bird watching opportunities. Park users should use caution when hiking around this park; poison ivy is abundant in this area. The park is conveniently located just outside of the town of Oliver. Open from the last weekend in June through Labour Day.

The winerys tasting room and wine shop are housed in the estates well-restored, heritage stone home, which dates back to the early 1900s. Summer tastings are offered on the patio to enjoy the spectacular views. Tasting enhancements such as charcuterie & cheese can be added to your wine tasting.
