Windsure is a family-run watersports business, located at beautiful Jericho Beach in West Point Grey, Vancouver. Today, we work to share our love of three quintessential Vancouver watersports: Windsurfing, Stand-Up Paddleboarding, and Skimboarding. Regardless of experience, age, ability, or comfort-level, Windsure has a program designed for anyone looking to get out on the water. Offering everything from beginner and intermediate lessons to equipment rentals to youth summer camps, the team at Windsure is dedicated to creating an experience for as many watersport-seekers as possible! We are proud to be a part of the Vancouver watersports community and we hope to continue to help it grow by sharing our love of the water with our fellow Vancouverites.

The Sunset Motel in downtown Creston, British Columbia is only two minutes from the downtown area where you can find; shops, rinks, restaurants, golf course, etc. We offer in-room amenities of free wireless internet, air-conditioning, coffee maker and some of our rooms have fully equipped kitchenettes and jacuzzi tubs. Many golfers stay with us while they are enjoying the beauty and challenge of the Creston Golf Club (one of the best golf courses in the interior of British Columbia). Other amenities include; BBQ on request, ample parking, nearby golf and walking distance into downtown Creston. We are a pet friendly motel - We accept small well behaved dogs and cats. If you have another type of pet, give us a call to confirm we can accommodate it before you book your room. As our Creston motel is located on acreage there is plenty of space to exercise your pet after the long drive. We charge a nominal fee of $10/pet/day. We are also a motorcycle friendly motel - We offer walk-out rooms that allow you to park your motorcycle within a couple of steps of your door. It is most reassuring to be able to easily see your bike day and night. We also offer washing facilities to take that latest layer of bugs off. Our guests enjoy the natural beauty of Creston area with quiet walks in the woods and family outings at the local rivers and lakes. Cape Scott Provincial Park is a truly magnificent area of rugged coastal wilderness that is located at the northwestern tip of Vancouver Island, 563 kilometres from Victoria. Cape Scott is characterized by more than 115 kilometres of scenic ocean frontage, including about 30 kilometres of spectacular remote beaches. The rugged North Coast Trail is a challenging and popular 43.1 km hiking track that connects many pristine beaches by stretches of tough overland passage. The park stretches from Shushartie Bay in the east, then westward around Cape Scott and south to San Josef Bay. Rocky promontories, salt marshes and jagged headlands punctuate the fine-textured, white-sand beaches. The most impressive of these beaches, Nels Bight, stretches more than 2,400 metres long and 210 metres wide at low tide, and is one of the parks most popular camping destinations. Other significant beaches include San Josef Bay, Guise Bay, Experiment Bight, Lowrie Bay and Nissen Bight.

Our home has two deluxe, self-cater suites one with a king and the other with a queen bedroom, full bathroom, living room, dining area, kitchenette and BBQ. Each suite has its own private entrance, patio and sensational views of Okanagan Lake and surrounding vineyards. We are also adjacent to the world class KVR hiking and biking trail. Continental breakfast included. Yes, we are OPEN and have put in place detailed cleaning and disinfecting procedures following recommendations by the Centre for Disease Control for Covid-19.

We also have a Deluxe room with a recliner and 65" TV and a King room also with a 65" TV and a King bed. Several pet rooms are available depending on availablility. A $25.00 pet fee will be charged. The Nikkei Internment Memorial Centre is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the internment of over 22,000 Japanese Canadians during the Second World War. The Nikkei Internment Memorial Centre opened its doors in 1994 as an initiative from the New Denver Kyowakai Society to commemorate and honor the stories of over 22,000 Japanese Canadians who were stripped of their civil rights, labelled "enemy aliens" and uprooted from their coastal homes during the Second World War. Located on the site of a former internment camp, the original buildings, period artifacts, interpretive displays, and Heiwa Teien garden designed by the renowned Roy (Tomomichi) Sumi, chronicle this extraordinary episode in Canadian history.
