Built in 1989 by owner/operator Chris Bennett from locally salvaged red cedar, Blackfish Lodge is a charming, family-run fly-in floating lodge located in British Columbia Canada, within the new Great Bear Rainforest, about 30 miles east of the northern end of Vancouver Island. Blackfish Lodge offers both fresh and saltwater fishing opportunities for all skill and experience levels. When you fish with us there are no pre-set fishing hours, we will fish each day as conditions and your preferences guide us. Greg and Deirdre have been actively involved in the diving industry for 20 years and continue to actively teach diving and dive for fun. Their expertise and enthusiasm will ensure that you will receive up to date advice on dive training, equipment and diving experiences. Greg, Deirdre and the staff of Ocean Quest will ensure that your experience is positive and rewarding.Ocean Quest offers Drysuit Specialty training and guided dives on demand (with advanced notice) for certifed divers visiting the Greater Vancouver area.
