Welcome to the Roedde family's home. Gustav and Matilda Roedde settled in Vancouver in 1888. Gustav opened the first bookbinding business in Vancouver and by 1893 moved into their new house in the West End. Roedde House is attributed to famed architect Francis Rattenbury and is a City of Vancouver-designated Class A Heritage House. Since 1980, the Roedde House Preservation Society has taken painstaking care to renovate and furnish the house to reflect the ambience of late Victorian family life. Come in and experience life in the late 19th century for yourself!

Cliff and Gorge wines are straight up clean, honest expressions of our vineyards at Texas Creek Ranch outside Lillooet B.C. We figure you want to taste the product of this land with no adulteration so we add nothing, nor take anything away that alters the flavours and aromas. We offer wine tastings and sales as well as dramatic Gorge walks and picnic areas. Pure wines in a Spectacular setting.

Ten Mile Lake is a very popular recreational destination for local residents and visitors. Take a rewarding 2-km hike on the old railway grade along the lake, and through the forest to a large beaver pond. For those that enjoy fishing but don't have a boat we have a great fishing dock that was installed in 2015 thanks to the efforts of the Fresh Water Fisheries Society of BC and the Quesnel Rod & Gun Club.
