Theatre NorthWest is a regional, professional theatre dedicated to bringing our audience a wide range of plays drawn from contemporary Canadian and international repertoires. Actors and other theatre professionals are contracted for each production from across Canada to work with our resident staff in order to bring together a four-play season which runs from September to May.

Often referred to as the best place to stay on the Alaska Highway, the Northern Rockies Lodge is the newest and most impressive hotel in the Liard River (hot springs), Toad River and Muncho Lake region. We are located on Mile 462 of the historic Alaska Highway on the shores of beautiful Muncho Lake. The Northern Rockies Lodge operates year round without any government subsidies and we were able to build over the last 3+ decades a self-sufficient village in the wilderness for you: We generate our own power, our own water and sewage systems. In addition to providing overnight accommodations for the Alcan travellers, we are also a popular vacation destination for many guests. We offer cozy country cottages on our hobby farm in Valemount, BC, nestled in the spectacular Robson Valley. The cottages are private, self-contained units with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom(s). Enjoy gorgeous views of the 3 mountain ranges from comfortable chairs on your porch. Our 40-acre property offers a selection of: *Nature walks (boardwalks and trails) *Picnic areas *Outdoor benches and sitting areas *Ponds and wetlands *BBQ-Horses, llamas, alpacas, chickens, and ducks.

Black Sheep Camp Kootenay is a campground situated along the picturesque Kootenay River in Canal Flats. The campground boasts 31 fully serviced RV sites, 20 30-amp power sites, four well-appointed glamping tents, and ample boondocking spaces throughout the property for off-the-grid camping experiences. Camp Kootenay River features amenities such as a washhouse with hot showers, washrooms, and a laundry facility. Additionally, guests can find a mercantile offering supplies at the office, as well as a storage yard catering to indoor storage needs for boats, RVs, trailers, and containers.
