Historically, Island Mountain Arts has sought to provide opportunities for the exhibition of professional artists in northern BC, for the benefit of both artists and northern communities. Relative to major urban centres, there have been minimal venues for exhibitions in the north, resulting in limited access to cultural activities for residents of small, isolated, or northern communities. Prior to 1988, Island Mountain Arts occasionally produced professional exhibitions by partnering with venues in Wells such as the Wells-Barkerville School, the Community Hall and the Wells Hotel, to exhibit artwork. With the restoration of the Hill Meat Market building in 1988 and creation of a public gallery, IMA was at last able to provide a secure professional venue for exhibits in Wells.

Located in the heart of 100 mile house, walking distance to restaurants, recreation centre, government offices, water falls at the park, art gallery, tourist information center, and several lakes. Our 23 ground level motel rooms (some with fully equipped kitchenette), and 21 RV spots (13 of them are winterized rv spots) is open all year round and offers daily, weekly and or monthly rates. All rooms are equipped with fridge, microwave, and coffee maker for guests convenience.

Horsefly Landing Resort is located on scenic Horsefly Lake, 65 kilometers east of Williams Lake, BC. We have four log cabins available for rent, just steps away from the crystal clear waters of Horsefly. Available for rent from May to October, each cabin is fully equipped with a coffee maker, dishes, cutlery, pots & pans, utensils, towels, and linens. Reservations required - 3 night stay minimum

The Williams Lake Visitor Centre is here to help you with all your travel needs! We provide information on Williams Lake, the Cariboo region, and the rest of Canada. The Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin is located in the back half of the building. The centre also boast a ice cream/gift/coffee shop, interactive displays, washrooms, seating areas, and free internet. Fort Berens Estate Winery is a culmination of the dreams, vision and pioneering spirit of several entrepreneurs. It was founded with a pioneering spirit and forged on the road less traveled. The winery is owned by a team of eight individuals who share a common belief in the incredible winemaking potential of British Columbias Fraser Canyon and a shared vision to make Fort Berens into one of Canadas leading producers of fine wine.

Founded in 1987, Central Mountain Air (9M) is a Canadian regional airline with operating bases at Calgary International Airport (YYC), Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Smithers Regional Airport (YYD). It flies to 15 destinations within Alberta and British Columbia. Central Mountain Air has a fleet of 20 aircraft: Three Dornier 328-100 planes that each hold 30 passengers, three Bombardier Dash 8 100 planes that each hold 37 travelers, and 14 Beechcraft 1900D planes that hold 18 passengers each. The carrier also operates charter flights.

Becker's Lodge 2019, also known as Becker's Lodge Bowron Lake Adventures Resort, is located on beautiful Bowron Lake, BC, only 27 kms away from Wells, BC, and Barkerville, BC. We are an outfitter for the Bowron Lake Provincial Park canoe circuit and a destination resort lodge with cabins, camping, RV sites, canoes, kayaks, and paddling equipment. We are now under new ownership (as of mid-July, 2019) and we're open twelve months per year. We rent snowmobiles and sledding gear as well as snowshoes and have winter cabin accommodations as well. Our campsites (open during the summer) are now pet-friendly and we have a few cabins that are pet friendly as well.

Our resort is accessible year round directly off of "The Fishing Highway 24", nestled within the heart of our "Beautiful BC" wilderness. The South Cariboo Visitor Centre is a charming log building and home of the unofficial "World's Largest X-Country Skis". Located along the 100 Mile Marsh, it's a great stop for a picnic and bird watching. For your convenience, restrooms, wireless internet, fenced picnic area and tons of information are available to you! Ask a knowledgeable and friendly Visitor Information Counsellor for assistance with local or provincial information and you won't be disappointed!
