Accommodations range from rustic cabins tucked away among the trees to suites overlooking quiet coastline waters. You will feel far from the hustle and bustle of the city, even though Gabriola Island is only 20 minutes by ferry from Nanaimo, or a 20 minute float plane ride from Vancouver. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool (seasonal), fitness gym, and on-site massage and other bodywork. While you are here, take a walk on beachfront trails, visit local art galleries and shops, participate in morning yoga and movement, or slide into a comfortable chair to catch up on some reading.

Oyama Lake Eco Lodge is situated on a volcanic lake with 27 islands, 15 cabin rentals, as well as a few camping sites. Stay the night or come up for the day and rent a boat. We offer canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, paddle boards, motorized fishing boats as well as lager pontoon boats. Oyama lake is great for fly fishing, trolling behind a boat, swimming, relaxing or exploring. Three of our cabins come with private washrooms, however, there is also a shared ladies powder room and a shower house on-site. All cabins have their own fire-pit as well as access to a communal BBQ area. There is a small store on-site, but it is recommended that you bring up your own food and water.
