Red Barn Lodge
Once the home of Rossland's dairy, Red Barn Lodge is well situated for its current role of providing a convenient base for your Summer and Winter outdoor adventures. With wilderness starting at the backdoor and spectacular views of Red Mountain and Mount Roberts from the front, the guesthouse is just 5 minutes by car from Red Mountain Ski Area and Blackjack Cross-Country Ski Area.Rossland's downtown, with its great restaurants and stores, is just ten minutes away on foot. Trails lead from the yard into the backcountry for ski tours, snowshoeing, mountainbiking and walking on the many paths through the surrounding British Columbia Interior Cedar- Hemlock forest. The Trans-Canada Trail runs by just a couple of hundred yards away, through the Red Barn Lodge property. Snowshoes are available to guests.The lodge is well situated in 13 acres of private grounds. Historic O’Keefe Ranch
O'Keefe Ranch was founded in 1867 by Cornelius O'Keefe. His family lived on site for 110 years before it was opened as an historic ranch, meaning it still houses one of the most complete collections of one family's stuff (from the Victorian and Edwardian eras) in all of the province. Today O'Keefe Ranch is operated by a non-profit society and is a registered charity. Come visit us during our open season from May to October - stroll along the boardwalk, visit our original buildings (set up as they were more than 100 years ago!), visit the Greenhow museum, and go say hello to our many farm animals.

R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum
R.J. Haney Heritage Village and Museum is located on the east side of Salmon Arm at 751 Highway 97 B, it is the Shuswap's largest heritage destination. It welcomes visitors from far and wide to discover how the early settlers and pioneers of the Shuswap lived. Set on 40 acres of the prettiest farmland in the Shuswap, the site comprises 24 buildings that are either replicas or originals and over 30 exhibits, including the original 1910 Haney House. Your admission includes access to the Heritage Village and Museum, Children's Discovery Centre & Outdoor Play Area, Sprig of Heather restaurant, walking trails, daily activities and tours. A must-see is our very popular Villains and Vittles Dinner Theatre Production. You can enjoy a home-cooked meal and live theatre every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday evening in July and August. Seating is limited. Some of the best memories are made at R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum, and a visit from May through September is well worth the trip!
