The Big Creek Lodge was established in 1985, in the heart of the Chilcotin Country, a remote region in British Columbia, Canada. Under new management since 2019, Cindy is excited to share an authentic Wild West experience with new and familiar faces! The lodge is located approx. 2-hrs drive from Williams Lake Airport. Transfer is available no rental car needed! We offer a full program of activities, including trail riding, ATV & Kayak Rental plus excellent fishing, wilderness hiking, lariat throwing and much more. When going for a trail ride, we will ensure the best fit! All of the rooms and cabins at Big Creek Lodge have earned a Canada Selected Four Star Rating. The accommodation is in comfortable lodge rooms or private cabins, all with floor heating, hair dryer, private facilities and some with balcony/terrace. The home-style country kitchen serves lovely breakfast, lunch and dinner in a relaxed, family atmosphere.

The Fort Nelson Heritage Museum is situated just West of the historic Mile 300 milepost on the World Famous Alaska Highway. The museum is located in Fort Nelson, BC, Canada and is operated by the Fort Nelson Historical Society. Fort Nelson is the gateway to the Northern Rocky Mountains and the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area. Mission Statement: To preserve and share the human, natural, and transportation history of the Fort Nelson area. Housed in 8 buildings, the museum offers countless displays and artifacts. View displays on forestry, fire fighting, mining, oil & gas, communications, construction, and wildlife. The museum is also home to a large collection of vintage automobiles. Discover Whistler's original summer activity the legendary River of Golden Dreams and scenic Alta Lake The flat water river is more than just a float, its an Exploring Adventure. Spectacular views of mountain peaks, Beaver, Eagles, Osprey, Herons and even Black Bears are regular sights that will have you eagerly wondering whats around the next bend. Unlike an amusement park ride River of Golden Dreams trips allow you to be an active participant, one of the reasons people keep coming back to paddle the river. In the spring the water levels can be high and moving though always flat and no rapids. By mid-summer water levels are gentle. By late summer the beaver start rebuilding their dams creating pools to paddle in. Guides are recommended, though experienced river paddlers go unguided. Our River trips have limited availability and often sell out, please pre book to assure your spot. Located at Lakeside Park minutes from Whistler Village.

With sixteen lakes available to guests to fish with rowboats waiting for you, everyday is an adventure. The cabins at the resort all have row boats and electric motors included with you stay. These mountain lakes all produce beautiful Kamloops rainbow trout. This is a quiet place to relax, go for a swim, paddle, walk or hike and have some fun fishing for feisty trout by fly or lure.
