Distinguished by our individuality, Great Northerns exclusive boutiqueness offers a smaller, more personalized backcountry skiing alternative. By choice, we operate only one state-of-the art passenger snowcat, with just one group of 16 skiers per week. Our signature service from friendly and professional reservation, mountain and lodge staff guarantees our guests' comforts and well-being are first and foremost. With 45 square miles of pristine terrain and over 600 inches of snow annually, Great Northern skiers experience a truly unique sense of intimacy and adventure in the heart of the majestic Selkirk Mountains of British Columbia.

Outside access motel rooms on 2 floors. One bedrooms have Queen or King (xtra charge) Sealy posturepedic mattresses. Two bed rooms have xtra long doubles. Executive rooms with jetted tubs. All rooms have air-conditioning/heat, wireless internet, coffee, fridges, some with microwaves, cable, movies. Kitchenettes available (xtra charge). Bella Coola Mountain Lodge is perfectly located in the community of Hagensborg, just 15 minutes from the BC Ferries docks at Bella Coola townsite, and only 35 minutes from Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, encompassing all that the Bella Coola Valley has to offer. At the lodge we offer accommodations in 14 rooms and suites, varying from single rooms to one bedroom suites, all with modern amenities including satellite television, wireless internet, and en-suite bathrooms.

Located on Hwy 16 in The Robson Valley, we are the perfect stop on your journey from Prince Rupert to Jasper, or for an overnight on your way to Alaska.
