Welcome to Mackenzie Beach Resort! A beachfront collection of beachfront cabins, modern suites, camping, re-imagined vintage Airstreams and RV sites. We might be biased, but its the best beach in Tofino. Maybe the world? We hate to boast but the awe-inspiring sunsets, marshmallow roasting campfires mixed with a family friendly (and adorable dog-friendly) stretch of sand is hard to beat. If thats not enough, well top it off with a hospitality staff that goes far beyond making your stay unforgettable and will end with a feeling that youve made some new best friends. We have a new lobby complete with a General Store with drinks, food, rental fire pits and electric bikes, art, staple grocery and camping goods. The facilities include new camping bathrooms, showers and coin laundry facilities. Our group of onsite amenities is ever growing, so check our website for what's new! MacSailing is the sailing school at the Jericho Sailing Center in Vancouver. We offer introductory sailing lessons for children and adults. Our goal is to offer a complete sailing experience based upon excellent instruction and a safe environment, utilizing equipment appropriate for all ages in a fun and dynamic atmosphere. All of our coaches are Sail Canada (or equivalent) certified with water safety and first-aid training.

Open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm year round. Weekends and Holidays noon to 4pm (when staff available, check). Our displays include First Nations, pioneer items including an 1880's cabin, mining, logging & ranching. Displays are curated annually. An in-home gallery and studio featuring the work of multi-media artist Val van der Poel. Visitors will see a variety of original art and, if they want they can have a mini-lesson in watercolour, acrylics, paper quilling or Alphabet Art. The artist also offers private and group lessons as well as Watercolour Painting Parties - please book ahead.

The former Coroner's Court, City Morgue, and Forensic Analyst Lab c. 1932 and city heritage building. The Vancouver Police Museum & Archives is an independent non-profit organization exploring the gritter history of Vancouver and specializing in the history of forensic sciences and policing.
