Bethlehem Centre is a cottage-at-the-lake style retreat and conference centre. Ideal for residential groups of 10-40 people, the Centre offers an all-inclusive experience with full meal service and on-site opportunities for quiet reflection and spiritual path-making. Situated on the shores of Westwood Lake at the foot of Mount Benson in Nanaimo, the Centre is a 5-minute walk from a swimming beach, is surrounded by forest, and is connected to miles of hiking trails. The Centre has an outdoor Chartres-style labyrinth, a finger labyrinth museum, a gift shop, a library, an organic vegetable garden and a contained eco-system outdoor pond. Founded in 1995, Tin Whistle Brewing is the original craft brewery of the South Okanagan, offering a wide selection of beer for locals and visitors alike. Tin Whistle was named after the first locomotive train to run on the Kettle Valley Railway which when it was constructed connected the regions of the Okanagan Valley like never before. Look no further than the beer label for activity inspiration. Classic Series labels feature the flora and fauna of the Okanagan region, including Black Widow Dark English Ale, Coyote Blonde Ale, Killer Bee Honey Porter and Peach Cream Ale. Adventure Series labels feature local landmarks, including the Munson Mountain Lookout for Lookout IPA, the pristine Okanagan beaches for Coco Galore Coconut Hopfenweisse and the Penticton Channel float for the Morning Glory Guava Hazy Pale Ale. Tightrope Winery is a small, family-run, sustainable winery on the Naramata Bench. A true labour of love for owners Lyndsay (winemaker) and Graham ORourke (viticulturist). We make hand-crafted, sustainable wines with artistry and passion that capture the soul of Naramata - the personality, character, culture and fruit of the Bench. We consider ourselves stewards of the land and take a wholly sustainable approach from grape to glass. We choose this for the good of the wine, the land and those who work it, and the generations to come. As the first Certified Sustainable Winery & Vineyard we incorporate many sustainable practices including no insecticides nor herbicides in the vineyard, solar power, use of winemaking waste materials to generate compost to fertilize the vineyard, and social responsibility to name a few. You are always welcome to visit us at the Wine Shop and Tasting Room. Our Tasting Room is open by appointment.

Facilities: 26 campsites, public beach and day-use area, pit toilets, water hand pump. There is a 10hp boating restriction on the lake. Location: 12 km from Highway 3 east of Greenwood. Jewel Lake is a popular rustic campground that attracts fishermen, campers, and people looking to explore the great outdoors. It is common to spot anglers fly-fishing for rainbow trout on this scenic 3 km long lake. This truly unique provincial park offers stunning views in a wilderness setting. Campsites are often available for last-minute campers in peak months. Open from the May Long Weekend through the second weekend in September.

Step inside the backcountry and share some good times, great food and amazing beer. Take a growler to go or stay and enjoy the pizza, salads, sausages and snacks from the Backcountry Kitchen. As a female business owner and entrepreneur with a background in marketing, it has been my dream to help grow and promote the local art community in Vancouver. I created Pacific Arts Market to showcase our city's local artistic talent and diversity. Local artists exhibit paintings, jewelry, pottery, photography, leather goods, woodwork and other crafts. My role is to be a catalyst that unites creative artisans with art-loving consumers. Once inside, all the unique & stunning pieces of art will speak for themselves. All Vancouverites are bound to find something that speaks to them. Passion overflows in all of these talented artists. You cant help but be swept up with it, too.
