Walters Cove Resort is a luxurious fishing lodge, owned by the Kyuquot Checklesaht First Nations. Located on the NW side of Vancouver Island in Kyuquot Sound, we provide a first class, fully guided, all-inclusive fishing experience for salmon, halibut and bottom fish. Grady White boats, and both Abel and Avet reels are an example of the top of the line equipment we provide. Our small, intimate lodge holds a maximum capacity of only 24 guests which allows us to provide exceptional customer service and cultural experiences such as our signature Beach BBQ. Skaha Rock Adventures Ltd. celebrates it's 32nd year as the Okanagan's premier rock climbing and mountain school, providing unparalleled instruction and guiding services. Our professional Association of Canadian Mountain Guide Staff utilize world renown Skaha Bluffs and Cathedral Lakes Provincial Parks for our programs.

Situated in the heart of the village centre, the Inn at Big White features excellent resort amenity access. Set amidst the spectacular Monashee Mountains, this 100-unit property offers a relaxing atmosphere. After a great day on the slopes, skiers and boarders love to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views from the comfort of their room. Each hotel room has its own Galley Kitchen which includes an induction cooker, mini-refrigerator, microwave and sink. Dishes, cookware and utensils are included.

The Loft is a newly renovated and updated spacious suite. It features a king sized bed with lux bedding and extra throw blankets to make the bed even more comfortable. The suite has a full bathroom with a claw foot tub for an authentic soaking experience! The kitchenette has a mini fridge, convection oven, hot plate, pots and pans, dishes, cups and utensils. We also have a coffee and tea station featuring Drumroasters Coffee (a locals favourite). One of our favourite features of the Loft is the private balcony. The balcony has views of the rolling hills behind the farm and provides the most tranquil surroundings to enjoy your morning coffee, evening glass of wine or local brew.

We operate biking, hiking and skiing tours in the Lower Mainland and throughout British Columbia. A great little motel in the center of Salmo. Under new ownership as of June 2021. Pet Friendly. WiFi. Plenty of parking & right in town. Upgrades will be continuing. 25 minutes from Nelson & Whitewater Ski Resort, 20 minutes from Backcountry skiing on Kootenay Pass. Salmo is the Hub of the Kootenays, with lower priced accommodation than Nelson. Come and enjoy little Salmo.
