A kind of Hippocratic oath (to do no harm) underlies the creative viticultural and enological practices at Burrowing Owl.

We welcome guests for free wine tastings. Guests are also able to purchase locally produced white, red, Rosé, sparkling, Ice wine, and dessert wines including port style wines. Come and join us for a great day. Pick your favorite bottle and feel free to have picnic on our ground with the beautiful view of the lake. (glasses are available for hire free of charge, deposit requires and will be refunded once the glasses are returned in good condition) B&B is also available should you require to stay overnight.

Whats our story? Our Langley winery was where it all started, but this is where it all happens! The story of our Okanagan winery might start with a tasting in our wine shop, and a friendly conversation over a few sips as you learn about our history on the Naramata Bench. We are a working winery and there will be no mistaking that fact when you come and visit. Take a look around back and you are very likely to see our winemaker Mary McDermott at work. Our goal? A warm welcome. Our desire? Constant elevation of the senses and the experience of wine, and a future memory that begins with, "Do you remember when we tasted that wine?". One of the downsides of larger, pre-arranged tours is that you travel with a large group which can leave you waiting around more than youd like. Also, you may not get to visit some of the areas smaller, more boutique wineries that make the Okanagan so special. You can choose your own tour or let our experts help you craft a tour with the type of experiences best suited to you and your friends that may include more than just wine, such as breweries, cideries, and distilleries. Our well-trained staff is available to drive you and your party anywhere in Okanagan in the comfort and convenience of your own vehicle or a rental. This can save you a lot of money on transportation and tour costs. Your driver is very flexible. We move at your pace, to the wineries you most want to experience. Okanagan Recreational Rentals is a recreational-tourism company specializing in marine / boat rentals, boat sales, parts and service. In the winter we offer snowmobile rentals/tours at Vernons Silver Star Mountain Resort. Whether renting, purchasing or taking a tour, our mission is about making long-lasting, unforgettable memories and experiences for our valued clients, their friends and families.

Facilities: Public beach, day-use picnic area, flush toilets, change house. Location: Off Hwy 3, in the town of Christina Lake. Christina Lake has a reputation of being one of the warmest lakes in all of Canada and is very popular with families. With its 300 metres of fine sandy beach, people flock to this swimming destination in the summer months. There is no overnight camping at this location. The closest provincial park campground with overnight accommodation is Gladstone (Texas Creek campground), 10 km east of Christina Lake. Nearby provincial campgrounds that should be able to accommodate last-minute campers in July and August include Boundary Creek, Jewel Lake, and Nancy Greene.

Kalala Organic Estate Winery is located on the Upper Bench of beautiful West Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley.
