***IMPORTANT NOTICE*** Kettle River Recreation Area and Campground will be fully operational and open as usual on May 6th. The Campground and Day-Use Area was minimally affected by the Rock Creek Fire. Facilities: 113 campsites, 1 large group site, public beach and day-use area, playground, shower, flush toilets, sani-station. Location: 5 km north of Rock Creek on Highway 33. Kettle River Recreation Area is one of the largest and most popular destination family campgrounds in the Okanagan - Boundary Region. Located minutes from amenities in Rock Creek, it is only 45 minutes from Osoyoos and 90 minutes from Kelowna. Campers will want to bring their bikes and floaties! This park offers fantastic biking/hiking opportunities and access to the historic Trans Canada Trail network. A bike pump track was recently added and is a hit with kids of all ages. In the summer months, campers walk their tubes and floaties to the Kettle River that flows alongside the campground, while others enjoy basking on the sandy beaches and swimming in the river. The iconic Kettle River Trestle at the day-use serves as a beautiful backdrop for park users and is a great photo opportunity! Reservations are strongly recommended during peak season, however last-minute campers may be able to find a spot in July and August. Spring and Fall campers enjoy large, sun-filled sites in a peaceful, pristine setting. Firewood and ice are available for sale at the Host Site. Open from the first weekend in May through the last weekend in September.

We specialize in winery and craft brewery tours, We pick up and drop off from all locations from Victoria to Parksville. Your group is the only group on your private tour. We have a 14 and an 18 passenger bus with driver and local tour guide. Private transport is also available for events: weddings, corporate, festivals, sports teams. Professional and personal service. While everyone enjoys the wine and the view when they come to visit, the most asked question would have to be about our name...On a cool spring morning in 1929, a small crew from Okanagan Falls set off to a deserted mining camp some 16 miles away from home. Their mission: to dismantle an old wooden church and bring it back to Okanagan Falls.The plan called for a controlled blast of four dynamite sticks inside the church in order to "loosen the nails". Odd as it may seem, the explosion spared the wood from damage during dismantling.Save for losing the steeple, the plan succeeded. Now the 103 year old wooden church stands proudly in its second home of Okanagan Falls and is still an operating United Church. In keeping with its rather remarkable history, the church has since withstood the threat of two major floods, including the disastrous burst of the Okanagan Falls Dam in the early 1950's.In naming our VQA wines "Blasted Church" we celebrate the ingenuity of the initiative to move the church and honor those pioneers for their vision.

Wya Point Resort is situated amongst old-growth forest and private, pristine beaches of the Yuu-thlu-ilth-aht (Ucluelet) First Nation peoples. Located on the rugged and remote west coast of Vancouver Island, we offer luxurious lodge accommodations, waterfront yurts and beachfront camping. We have nine timber lodges that were built to LEED Platinum standards using locally harvested red cedar. Each lodge is uniquely designed by a local carver and artist, and named for an animal of the Yuu-thlu-ilth-aht culture. The lodges come equipped with a full kitchenette, fireplace, bathroom, bedroom (1 or 2), cedar deck and chairs, and floor to ceiling windows that overlook Ucluth beach. Our beachfront yurts are open year-round and have private access to Wya beach. All come with a gas stove for heat, cedar deck and chairs, linens and basic kitchen essentials. While our yurts and lodges have daily housekeeping, guests are advised to bring their own potable drinking water and food.

This off grid mountain lodge situated at 3,700 feet in the mountains, on a private lake, has all the comforts of home. Three bedrooms have a queen and single bed with one room having two single beds. Close to the lodge are three rustic cabins that are 12' x 10', each cabin sleeps 2 each, use of an outdoor cook shack and fire pit. Campsites are available too! Enjoy the spectacular lake and mountain views. Bring your fly fishing rod to enjoy catching and releasing wild rainbow trout (additional fee).
