Barefoot Beach Resort is a luxury RV campground with a 14 unit Yurt Village. We have our own private beach located a short walk from your RV lot, two of our Yurt rentals are waterfront. Our campground has the largest RV lots in the Okanagan with beautifully landscaped gardens that are irrigated and a canopy of mature trees that provide lots of shade. Direct access to miles of KVR biking and hiking trails. On site laundry for $2/load and an off leash area for dogs. We have a seasonal restaurant and ice-cream shop and focus on providing health conscious and family friendly accommodation. Previously we had offered tent sites which attracted the wrong atmosphere and maintenance issues, we are proud to be focused now on a community of long term visitors that come back year after year.

We produce our weekly Markets to create healthy food networks that sustain our land, our community, and our bodies. The Comox Valley Farmers Market Association hosts a year round Saturday Market, plus extra markets through the summer on Wednesdays and Sundays. Just minutes off Hwy 1, Simon Fraser University Conference and Guest Accommodations are proud to offer a variety of accommodation and meeting room choices at our urban mountain top retreat. With accommodations for up to 750, we have options to suit the budget needs of groups of all sizes. Hotel rooms, meeting space, and dining facilities are available year round. Townhouse Quads and Private Residence rooms are available mid-May to mid-August. The Simon Hotel offers 14 rooms total, 11 with a queen bed (Queen Suite) and 3 with a queen bed and a pull out sofa couch (Queen with Sofa Suite). Parking is included in the room rate for the Simon Hotel. Simon Hotel suites include free WIFI, a mini fridge,Keurig coffee and tea brewing system, HDTV, & more.

The Fort Nelson Visitor Information Centre is located at Mile 300 on the famous Alaska Highway. Stop in to get information, ask questions, use the computers or internet, use bathrooms and fill up your coffee mug. The centre is also stocked with local artisan products from art and jewelry to pottery and First Nations products which may make a great keepsake. We have Covid-19 procedures in place - if you have any concerns please give us a call We are closed on Statutory Holidays

Lakeshore Bed & Breakfast provides two well appointed suites for your comfort. The Lakeview Room and the Spruceview Room offer queen beds, sitting areas and ensuite bathrooms. The Lakeview Room has a balcony overlooking the gardens and the lake. The extensive deck, gardens and beach provide an oasis in the city for your relaxation and enjoyment after a delicious breakfast served in the dining room, overlooking the gardens and lake. We offer two kayaks for our guests use and of course in season, swimming in the lake is a great way to cool off.

Let us help you make the most of your trip to Haida Gwaii! We are located inside the Sandspit Airport Terminal with our hours changing seasonally. Sandspit/K'il Kun, is the southernmost community on Haida Gwaii, and the only community on Moresby Island. We are the last stop and gateway to Gwaii Haanas. Our community's many nearby bays and trails offer exiting places to explore coastal life and set up a base for your next adventure. Come in and ask us for a community trail guide map or other local information. We also pride ourselves on our gift shop which is a beautiful space to browse while you wait for your flight, where you will find books, souvenirs, and local art before you leave the islands. Bike rentals available. The Sandspit Visitor Centre is usually opened on flight days, around plane times. Please note the Sandspit Visitor Centre is sometimes closed at short notice due to staffing shortage. The Centre is also usually closed if a flight is cancelled.
