Vanderhoof Tourism and Cultural Centre
The Vanderhoof Tourism and Cultural Centre opened its doors on June 30, 2022 and is located on the corner of Highway 16 and Pine Street on the traditional territory of Saikuz First Nation. Stop in to pick up some brochures, check out some local art, and chat with one of the friendly Visitor Services Specialists about the exciting things you can do in Vanderhoof. The Vanderhoof Community Museum is also located on these grounds. We encourage you to take a tour through our collection of six historic buildings at your own pace or with a guide. Admission is by donation and includes a large RV parking lot, free WIFI, wheelchair accessible picnic tables and a 1.5km interpretive walking trail. We hope to see you soon!

Rainforest Tours

Fully and partial RV and tenting sites, as well as 10 self-contained cabins and a larger sized cottage are available. Fun for the whole family with boat rentals and a concession/store on site. Very close to Westwood Lake where there is great swimming, hiking, mountain bike trails and fishing. Close to all amenities including aquatic centre, ice rinks, bowling alley, golf course, shopping, pub and cafes, bus route. We are a 7 min. drive to the ferries. We are one of Nanaimo's best kept secrets.
