Link River is a spectacular campsite located on the shores of Alice Lake and Link River. This campground offers amazing fishing, boating, swimming, and so much more. Open year-round, with paid bookings required from May to October while our caretaker is on-site. From October to April enjoy free camping on a first come, first serve basis. Please be aware that during this time, the park is user maintained. Link River campground has seen substantial updates and expansion recently, including the creation of several new group sites & pull-through sites. There are 2 sheltered BBQ areas, concrete boat ramp, beach, playground, horseshoe pits, axe throwing, Yardzee, and accessible washrooms. Propane firepits are available to rent (propane not included), and can be used during seasonal fire bans. There is no power, potable water, or sewer services. The Village of Port Alice is a short drive away and offers everything you could need including sani-station with potable water.

"The Friendliest Course in the Kootenays!" The Riondel Golf Club is a beautiful 9 hole course located on Kootenay Lakes East Shore, just 10 minutes from the longest free scenic ferry ride in the world called, "The Kootenay Lake Ferry."

Selkirk Mountain Experience has been listed as a "Best Adventure Travel Company on Earth" by National Geographic Adventure, three times. We are a family owned and operated adventure travel company, based at the Durrand Glacier Chalet, outside Revelstoke BC. This is a remote lodge, accessed by helicopter only. During summer months we offer alpine hiking with over 90 km of trails in a pristine and exclusive setting. Our 18 guests and resident marmots and mountain goats are the only beings using this trail network! In the winter we offer backcountry skiing, in the mecca of alpine powder skiing. Our 96 square km of private tenure offer some of the best skiing on earth, both in the alpine and in the trees. Glades, burns, 30+ summits, 10+ glaciers and the deepest snowpack in the Selkirk Mountains. In addition to the Durrand Glacier Chalet, we have two smaller chalets which we use to do overnight ski trips into the further reaches of our area. All three huts are clean, cozy and beautiful wooden chalets. The Durrand Glacier Chalet is our home base, with 11 private bedrooms and a spacious washroom facility steps from the bedrooms. This facility includes hot running showers, sinks and full indoor plumbing attached to a septic system. We also have a new sauna built in summer 2020 (primarily for winter use). The Durrand has fabulous alpine cuisine, with a private chef and a full staff of friendly, hard-working SME family. Unwind in your own private 9 acre forest on the waterfront of Bedwell Harbour. Look across the Harbour and watch the sunset over Gulf Island National Reserve. This is relaxation and privacy like none other with Seals, Otters, Herons, and Eagles visiting daily. The stairs take you down to the beach. The cabin is rustic but very cozy. One bedroom plus loft, 3 beds in total. Must have 4wd vehicle to drive down very steep hill to the cabin or park at top and walk 5min in. We provide a wagon. 360 degree views of ocean and forest.

Cumberland is centrally located on the Island and is the perfect place to access the trails of other areas, such as; Forbidden Plateau/Comox Lake, Hornby Island and Campbell River. Island Mountain Rides is owned and operated by Martin Ready. Martin uses 12 years of guiding experience and over 20 years of mountain biking experience to ensure that you have a great time. Sharing his passion for West Coast fishing, Lewis Freeman started No Limit Charters in the Summer of 2006. Based out of Victoria's inner harbor, No Limit Charters began as a local small business and has since grown to include clients from around the world. Our fishing charter vessel is fully equipped and meets or exceeds all standards set forth by the Canadian Coast Guard and Transport Canada.
