Metchosin ArtPod is an artist-run collective and gallery located in the rural village of Metchosin, on Greater Victorias West Shore. We support local visual artists by offering opportunities to learn, create, show, and sell original work, and offer the community a venue for engaging with the visual arts. We offer: open calls for art submissions to artists in our region and beyond; externally juried art shows and sales in a gallery setting; show opening events, featured artist talks, and discussion forums; weekly drop-in art sessions; art workshops, resource networks and learning opportunities. Art drop-in sessions are held during the week, and the gallery is open Fri -Sun, 11-4. We are located in a rural village, surrounded by cafes, a micro-brewery, artist studios, historic sites, and many farms, parks and trails. So many options for art lovers Well worth a visit!

Hello Adventurers! Come join us for a kayaking adventure....some relaxation, fresh air & sunshine and exercise. Shake off the doldrums and immerse yourself in a quiet wilderness paddle. The scenery is spectacular here with mountain vistas, old growth rainforests, and our amazing wildlife. What better way to see all of this than to paddle the shores of beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada in a kayak. We are open from April to September. Adventuress offers fun wildlife tours, sunset paddles or multi-day adventures. Day tours and sunset paddles start as low as $69/person and include instruction, kayak and gear, dry bags and a certified guide; no experience necessary. Holly Hill Petting Farm is the proud home of Vancouver Island's only baby wallabies! We're an interactive and expansive petting farm nestled in the heart of Campbell River. From March through October, you're invited to explore and immerse yourself in our free-ranging barnyard.
