The Retreat will be used in the training and care of Youth For Christ leaders. The location is nestled in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Our mandate is to provide a place for rest, renewal and growth. When the Retreat is not in use by Youth For Christ staff it will be available as a restorative setting ideal for personal and group retreats, workshops, conferences requiring accommodation as well as for individuals seeking a place for personal renewal and restoration. The Honeymoon Bay Lodge & Retreat is wheelchair accessible and has 17 beautifully appointed suites, full dining experience and versatile meeting spaces. Amenities include a saltwater hot tub, infrared sauna, fitness room, library, gardens, local artisans gallery, and a labyrinth.

Vaseux Lake Provincial Park is a popular roadside campground that provides excellent fishing opportunities for bass, trout and carp. This park boasts beautiful lakeside sites. It is conveniently located on Highway 97 between OK Falls and Oliver. It is minutes away from amenities and popular tourist spots. Viewing platforms at Vaseux Wildlife Centre offer excellent nature sighting opportunities for birds, aquatic life, mountain goats and big horn sheep. Park users at Vaseux Wildlife Centre should use caution as poison ivy is common in the area. Open from the first weekend in April through Thanksgiving Weekend.

We can print your fishing licence from the office, have an onsite fish cleaning station as well as complimentary freezer space for your fish. We have a treed RV park that hosts 22 fully serviced RV sites that is open year round. Additionally, there is a herb garden for guests use along with plenty of flower beds.
We are a family owned and operated lakefront resort with lodging in modern, well-maintained cabins and RV park. We offer pontoon boat, aluminum boat with motor, kayak and canoe rentals. Each cabin and RV site has it's own assigned dock space. The fishing is great, Loon Lake has native rainbow trout only; it not stocked, but the fish are plentiful. Beautiful natural landscape with riparian shoreline. There is no beach, but enjoying a float, swimming off the end of the docks and jumping off a rented pontoon boat are very popular water activities on hot days. RV park has coin operated showers, bathrooms, firepits, free firewood and is pet friendly.
