The Grizz Hotel opened in September 2019, in that time it has undergone renovations both inside and out. All the rooms were renovated at the start of 2020 including new bathrooms. We now also serve the Wing n' it franchise in both our onsite pub (the Last Drop pub) as well as our restaurant, where hotel guests can enjoy a 15% discount on food. Rooms come with a fridge, cable TV, air conditioning and WiFi access. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available anytime in the lobby. Vancouver DeTours Vancouver DeTours is a new project from the acclaimed Tour Guys collective of walking tour guides. Take a deep dive into the multilayered history and spaces of the city by going off-course from the standard paths and stories. A detour is an indirect route or digression, but to DeTour is also to un-know and reimagine Vancouver in critical new ways.

Parwood is an 18 hole disc golf course located in Sparwood, BC. The course is rugged and is built on the side of a mountain. The course is made up of 18 Innova baskets with yellow metal bands. The course is located at the end of the old ski hill road (Sparwood Heights Drive), behind Sycamore Rd. Visit the Leisure Centre (367 Pine Ave) to get maps, discs, brochures and instructions.
