Welcome to the Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin. We are situated on Broadway Avenue South, Williams Lake serving on the traditional territory of the Secwepemc, Tsilhqot'in and Dakelh Nations. The Museum is a tribute to Williams Lake and the Cariboo Chilcotin regions. If you are looking to step back in time come on in we would love to open our doors to you. Nestled in the Cariboo Chilcotin, the Museum provides history and displays on the region, local ranching and rodeo heritage, it is also the home to the BC Cowboy Hall of Fame as well as exhibits on Indigenous Peoples, Railway, Mining, Medical, and Forestry just to name a few. Admission is by donation supporting local and provincial heritage. We gratefully acknowledge the support of the Federal Government of Canada, the Province of British Columbia, as well as the City of Williams Lake and the Cariboo Regional District in partnership with the Central Cariboo Arts and Culture Society.

The West Coast Railway Association presents the story of how the railways were a catalyst in the creation of Western Canadian communities and their economies. This is done primarily at the Railway Museum of British Columbia (formerly the West Coast Railway Heritage Park) in Squamish, BC, where the collection of 95 heritage railway locomotives and cars are exhibited in a typical small community setting. WCRA also operates the Locomotive 374 Pavilion in Vancouver.

Our location off Trans-Canada Highway 1 puts our pet-friendly Abbotsford hotel within walking distance to 2 shopping plazas with supermarkets, professional services, bistros and fast food restaurants. Invite your friends, family and colleagues to your next event in one of our 6 meeting rooms, which can accommodate up to 500 people for banquets and 300 for conferences. SkyTrek Adventure Park, located 32 km west of Revelstoke, is BCs longest-running high ropes adventure park. Got a bigger group to accommodate? We have plenty of room for extra guests to bring their own gear for dispersed camping. Our property provides you with all of the comforts and essentials you need for a restorative time away. Each unit is comfortably appointed with beautiful furnishings and queen beds with super plush Polysleep memory foam mattresses. Towels and linens are included. Our glamping units feature private outdoor fire pits and kitchenettes with cold running drinking water, cookware, dishware, and utensils. A shared outdoor bath house includes hot showers and flushing toilets. Come for a stay you’ll never forget, luxury glamping under the stars with wide open views of Okanagan Lake.
