A scenic 40 minute ferry ride from Vancouver, situated on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Up The Creek Backpacker's Lodge is 14km from the ferry terminal at Langdale. Seal Bay RV Park is one of Vancouver Islands finest, privately owned, fully serviced, year-round campgrounds. In a park-like setting, all sites are either 30 or 50 amp and also have water, sewer and cable connections. For your convenience wifi is available along with Shaw Go. The washrooms are heated, clean and showers are coin operated. A coin operated laundry is also on site. Wilderness tenting sites are open during the Summer months. If you are looking to get away for some peace and quiet this is the place to be, no pool, no playground. A trail directly into Seal Bay Nature Park gives you an opportunity to go biking or hiking and in 30 minutes you can be down at Seal Bay. Macaloney's Island Distillery & Twa Dogs Brewery is a producer of premium malt whiskies and superb craft beers. Our basic tour lasts 45 mins and begins in our visitors centre and flows the way the spirits go, past the grist mill where you can taste some of the various strains of malted & un- malted barley, or other cereals that we as a craft brewer as well as a distiller get to play and experiment with. Onward into the heart of the Brew & Still house through the smells of the mash tun & wash backs, past the gleaming swan necked Stills and then up into the warehouse and bottling hall before returning back to the visitors centre for a wee dram of two of the whiskies in our Macaloney Cask Selection series along with three of our craft beers.
